"The wildlife has changed so much since we last got here," Zhi Xun said with a smile, patting her bump as they waltzed through the skies of the mortal world in the immortal carriage, arriving at the forest of the countryside they had once camped at. Only this time, it had been converted into a reserve park, to maintain the natural beauty of the habitat it once was.
They had visited the university, Su Vogue's former office location, Zhi Xun's apartment, the Gaos' former condominium and the venue where they had got engaged and married, and even the beach. Among all these locations, only the forest had maintained its surroundings and looked exactly like how it had been in their vivid memories.
"In the future, as eons go by, will we still remember all these places and what we went through?" Zhi Xun asked.
"Definitely," Tian Yu said. "Every memory I have of us is so precious, even after the worlds have been replaced with new ones and the inhabitants of the worlds have moved to their next generations, my love for you will never change."
"You're so cheesy," she said.
"Why have I never heard you say this before?"
She was speechless for a few seconds, and then she continued, "Probably because I don't have anyone else. You left me no other choices."
He poked her in the side. "Well, it's you who wanted this only option. But since you wanted me all along, I decided to hold tight and not let you go."
"Hey!" she protested, as she felt the immortal baby give her a kick, strangely so robust that the ground around them vibrated, causing an earthquake, and Tian Yu laughed. "Three years, it seems to be, before we can finally see him." He had barely finished his sentence when his band buzzed, and a message flashed across his phone screen.
"Siming: Come to the Taichen Palace now for your perma-assignment."

Finally, it was time for their assignment.. and also time for the evil stone to be surrendered to the power of the strongest couple of the Universe, where it would never harm any of the Realms, and Zhi Xun and Tian Yu would never be worried or bothered by its existence. Zhi Xun had decided to have it handed over to the DongFeng couple when she accepted it from Yan Hangeng, and with the disappearance of the stone, the sisters and their individual lovers could now live a happy life.
A happy ending for all.

Due to the similarity of Zhi Xun and Tian Yu to the DongFeng couple, I could think of many possibilities for their assignment: 'doubles' of the DongFeng couple to trick the Sky Kingdom's immortals when they didn't feel like having open court (shangchao), working with them to manage QingQiu/BihaiCanglin when they didn't have the time to visit and check-up on it, replacing the immortal scholars in Yuqi or even assigned to their own mortal world.
