Valerie was on the way home on the bus.

It had been a ordinary day - lessons, teacher, friends. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Then she heard her phone vibrate in her pocket.

She reached in to get the call.

"Unknown Caller".

"0795 468 2580"

All those PSHE lessons came flooding back to her in an instant.

"Don't pick up messages from strangers."

She pressed "Reject".

But when it came the third time she had had enough. She pressed "Accept".

"..."

"Hello, who's there?"

"..."

"This isn't a joke. I'm serious, I will hang up."

"Is this Valerie Grant on the phone?"

"!!!"

The voice was deep and raspy, like that of an insanely old man.

"I want you to find me on Instagram. My name is-"

"No way, you old man! Get off the phone!"

She pressed "END CALL".
