I ran and ran as fast as I could, unfortunately by when I reached the airport, the plane had took off. And I saw the plane as I passed over head and sighed.
"Missed it." Alyssa teased.
"No kidding Sherlock." I replied.
"What are you going to do now?" She asked.
"I don't know." I said causing her to facepalm herself. "You know, I heard a rumor of a train that could take you anyway in record time."
"You're really going to believe a rumor?" Alyssa asked. "Can't you just take the second flight or something?"
"Both flights were full." I tell her. "My friends and I were only able to get seats because our teacher booked them for us." Alyssa just rolled her eyes.
"Okay I get that, but you're not really going to trust some stupid rumor?" Alyssa asked.
"What choice do I have it's?" I told her. She just sighed. Then I looked up the train station. "Hmm.... That's weird, no results." I said once it finished loaded. "Oh wait, I see it." Alyssa raised her eyes.(Since she was electronic, she could just imitate the emoji.)
"Yeah, cause that's not suspicious." Alyssa stated.
"Don't be like that." I told her. "Oh what you know it's not far from here."
"Again, how do you that isn't a flex?" Alyssa asked raising an eyebrow. 398Please respect copyright.PENANADNKRlGJKq6
"Well." I began. "We'll just have to go and find out."
"No we don't!" Alyssa shouted. "If my hands weren't digital Melissa, I would so be blocking you right now." I giggled. That girl is too literal. (If I could roll my eyes, I would!)398Please respect copyright.PENANAxAGqhTRVQq
We arrived at the place an hour later. It was an abandoned underground train station. It was hot pink, with dust everywhere. As I stepped inside, I felt a strong rush of cool wind, brush passed me.
"This place is nice." Alyssa stated. "So brand new." (You could tell she was being sarcastic.)
"So it's a little old." I said trying to sit on a bench that ended up breaking. Alyssa just eyed me.
"Yeah, right." Alyssa told me. "When is this train suppose to arrive anyway?" Suddenly, a long black train zoomed right in front of us.
"I think....... that was it." I told her once it stopped.398Please respect copyright.PENANAw2up3jujoM
It was galaxy black, with silver doors and handles. One of the silver doors opened just as my alarm set off. Then I went inside. As soon as I stepped inside, the door slammed itself shut. Alyssa raised her eyebrow.
"Most train doors are automatic, Alyssa." I told her. As soon as I finished that sentence, the entire turned pitched black.
"Do most trains do that?" Alyssa exclaimed.
"It happens." I told her. "I'll just check my notifications to see what happened." But when I tried to, I couldn't find my phone or anything else I brought with me -including Alyssa!
"Um....Alyssa." I said becoming worried. "Where are you?"
"I'm right here." Alyssa replied. I recognize the voice, but it didn't see her. Then a bright light appeared in the middle of the room. When it dimmed, I saw a face (digitized; similar to Alyssa's) hovering above it.
"Alyssa?" I asked waving my hand over it. "Is that you?"
"No silly!" The hologram spoke out making my jump back a few feet. That sounded nothing like Alyssa.
"My apologies." The hologram said when that I jumped back. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Malaysia and I'll be your digital assistant for the ride. Melissa Calista agent of the Nova headquarters. Passenger 149a. Can I call you Lisa?"
"Yeah....." I dragged. "Sure. Just one question."
"Any thing Lisa." Malaysia replied.
"What the world is going on!?!" I exclaimed.
"Well I'm not sure it I could answer that for you." Malaysia told me. "What I do know is that this train is designed to help its passengers solve their problems with the use of advance programs."
"Well, guess since I don't have a problem." I began. "I'll just be on my way." Then I began to head for the door. Only the door wasn't where it was when I came in. Malaysia actually look a little sorry for me.
"Malaysia where's the door?" I asked.
"Right next to passenger 194b Alyssa Nova." Malaysia replied. Wait! Passenger 194b sounds oddly familiar. I wonder....... Before I could finish my thought, a hand pulled me to the darker part of the room.
"I don't wanna say I told you so," The person started. (Wait that sounds just like Alyssa!😲) "but.... I TOLD YOU SO! Why didn't you listen?" Okay that's definitely Alyssa as voice.
"Alyssa is that you?" I asked. (I was unable to see the woman but I felt her hand pulling me.)
"Yes it is." Alyssa replied. I was shocked.
"But." I said looking for words. (I was speechless.) "How?"
"Don't ask." She told me. "Cause, I sure don't know." Then she chuckled. "And besides, that's not the hot issue right now. Right now, we need to find a way off this crazy train."
"Well Malaysia told me there was a door near where you were sitting." I told her. She stared.
"And how do you know that's the exit?" She asked. "That door could just take us to the next cart, or the backroom, or to a jail!"
"Why would a train have a jail?" I asked.
"Hey, I'm just spit balling here!" She exclaimed. "But seriously though, how do we know we can trust her?"
"Look." I began. "I'm not entirely sure if we could trust her either." I told her, causing her to give me a hard stare. "However, I'm not going just sit around and wait and let time pass by. We don't know if anyone is coming to rescue us. They probably don't know where we are. Now are you coming are not?" She just stared at me and sighed.
"*Sigh* okay, I'm convinced." Alyssa replied. "Now let's get out of here." Then she proceeded to open the door but it would not budge.
"Um... Melissa, we might have a problem." Alyssa said after a few seconds of struggling. "I can't seem to open this door."
"Really?" I asked walking up to her. "Let me try." Then I began to pull open the door but, it didn't budge. "Hmm.... Not budging for me either. Hey Malaysia! Why isn't the door opening?" Alyssa gave me a hard glare.
"You need a ticket to open the door." Malaysia explained.
"But you brought your ticket online." Alyssa stated. "It should work." Malaysia laughed.
"Not that type of ticket." Malaysia chuckled. "I meant a time travel ticket." 398Please respect copyright.PENANAUffSDZAVNg
The two of us (me and Alyssa) stared at her confused. Before either of us could ask her what she meant by that, a large whirlwind of glowing papers, surrounded the three of us. I recognized the papers as book pages. Alyssa attempted to grab one but it refused to let her hold it. Then I proceeded to grab one and succeed. When I grabbed it, the entire page, front and back, put words on itself. 😲. Then the door opened. 398Please respect copyright.PENANAr98B6HZUof
"Well," Alyssa began. "See you on the other side!"
"Alyssa wait!" I shouted, but she had already went inside. I sighed. I folded the paper and placed it into my pocket. Then adventured after her.
