My name is Isabel Mayes. I’m fourteen, and I’m in ninth grade. My family moves. A lot. I’ve moved eight times in my life, wow yes I’m not lying. My family actually is moving once again. Even though they never tell me why. I’ve learned that I can never get too attached, I’ll just have to leave. 424Please respect copyright.PENANA2uMUxn3Nem

I’ve always lived in small towns. But this move is moving to Spring Hill. A big city. I don’t know what to expect, but I hope people like me. Well, that’s my mom calling me. I’ll get on with my story. 424Please respect copyright.PENANAB1ZvED6dHF

“Isabel! Bring your suitcase down here, dads loading them into the car!” I quickly zipped it up and bumped it down the stairs with my knee, which I admit was pretty painful. I handed it to my father and he walked down our wooden garage stairs to toss it in the trunk. 424Please respect copyright.PENANAFM6PXwn0z7

He did the same to my mother’s before climbing into the car. “Make sure to buckle up, Isabel!” I grumbled yes before pulling the strap over my stomach. The trip took three hours. Not the worst, but I certainly don’t want to do it again. My legs were sleepy from sitting in the car for so long, so I almost tripped out of the car.
The house was actually very beautiful. Instead of bricks, it was colored in a light blue material. It was a bit smaller than our last house, but it was way prettier. 424Please respect copyright.PENANAhE4LgXHYS6

We unpacked, which took two hours. It was just carrying suitcases and bags in and placing them in random areas of the house. But my father told me it was ‘very important.’
”Isabel! We’d like you to meet someone!”
