"Why did you ask me to come here?", asked The Keeper, in a hushed voice. "What is it that you wanted to tell me?"
A dark apparition stood before him, in the small clearing deep in the forest. This was The Dark Sentinel, the most powerful inhabitant of The Dark Lands. Like The Keeper and some other people in the lands, he was also tired of the constant wars and riots that reigned across the kingdoms. The Keeper knew very well that a matter of considerable urgency alone could have led to this hurried meeting.
"A great danger looms ahead.", began the Sentinel. "We must try to stop it before it is too late, or The Lands will be plunged into eternal chaos."
"What is it now? Are The Dark Disciples are planning another conspiracy to become rulers of The Lands?"
"No. It is something far more sinister, and more dangerous. Something you will have a hard time believing."
"Is that so?", asked The Keeper. "Pray tell me what calamity is to befall us next."
"I cannot say much, for I have heard only fleeting whispers here and there. But what I heard was enough to imply that a Rogue Order is being formed by some people from both of our kingdoms."
"Watch your tongue, sir!", exclaimed The Keeper, angrily. The followers of our Order are too pure to be blinded by The Darkness. Such blasphemy may very well cost you your life"
"My dear friend, like you, I am also a guardsman, tasked with maintaining The Balance. A wise man like you must know that it is not only The Darkness that is blinding."
"Even though I hate to admit it, what you heard might be real.", said The Keeper, after a lengthy pause. "Even I had heard some rumors, but did not think they were worth pursuing."
"I guess you should pursue it now. I will also try to find out more, but I doubt whether I will find anything, for it seems that the masterminds of this plot are in your kingdom. We must be very careful, or we might make them suspicions."

"Stay safe my friend,", said The Keeper, shaking the other's hand, "for in the shadows lurk the dangers."
"You as well." replied The Sentinel, "The light hides more than it reveals."
