“I think he fixed it guys.” I say. Namjoon, Taehyung, Jin, and Jungkook come over. “Hm?” Namjoon says. “Yoongi hyung texted me and said that he and Chun-Ae are going out or something. He said he’s excited.” I say. “Oh, cool. Is she ok?” Jin says. Kook’s eyebrows go together. “Yeah, hyung. Is she ok?” He says. “Mhm. She was stressed out and had a panic attack in her sleep which caused her to have a seizure. That’s what Yoongi hyung said.” I say. “I wonder what she was panicking about.” Jimin says, coming into the room.
“Me too, actually.” Taehyung says. “I don’t know but she’s really cool. Even if Jimin acts all snotty, it doesn’t get to her and that’s cool.” Jin says, glaring at Jimin. “I just think you guys trust too quickly.” He says and shrugs. “But you were worried about her.” Namjoon says, rolling his eyes and smiling. “Yeah. And besides, we don’t know her past and we can’t judge her. We won’t judge her.” Jungkook says. Jimin sits down. “Good point.” He says.
“And it’s not just that, hyung. She and Yoongi hyung were forced into an arranged marriage. That could be stressing her out too. Like Kookie said, she has her own problems.” Taehyung says. I nod. “I think we should let her be herself and hang out with her. Get to know her. And Jimin, stop being mean to her.” I say. Jimin sighs. “Ok, fine.” He says. Jin walks over to him. “I will never buy you meat and stew kimchi jjigae again if you are mean to the child.” He says. Jimin gasps. “You would do that to me!?” He says. Jin nods and laughs. “The disrespect, hyung. I am so hurt by you right now.” Jimin says.
I smile. “Jimin, be like that with her. She probably thinks you’re mean. Show her that you’re not. Show her that you’re not like the person you think she is.” I say. Jimin jumps onto me. “Jin hyung said he won’t buy me stew kimchi jjigae!” He cries into my shoulder. “So, Min Yoongi, what’s your favourite food?” I say. “Easy. Meat, duh.” He says. I smile and look over at him as we walk through the mall. “What is your favourite food?” He asks. “You’re so annoying, make your own questions. But my favourite food is kimchi jjigae.” I say. “That’s Jimin’s favourite food.” Yoongi says. “He doesn’t like me. I don’t know why but it’s whatever.” I say. “Because all of my exes were gold-diggers and liars. And you dare to be bold with me and not worry about him but you’re too shy to go out in public without matching. Where’s the logic?” He says. “Leave me alone!” I say. “But I have a question for you.” He says.
“Okie.” I say and smile. “Who is Jeong?” He asks. I stop dead in my tracks and stop smiling. I slowly turn to him. “What?” I say. “Jeong? Who is that?” He asks, stopping and looking at me worriedly. “No one. Nobody. Nothing. Next question.” I say and push my pain to the side. “Oh, uhm, ok. Why did you agree to the arranged marriage?” He asks. “Well, I didn’t. It wasn’t my choice. Why did you?” I say. “It wasn’t my choice but I thought you, like, agreed to it.” He says. “No.” I say.
“Wanna go in here?” He asks. We stop in front of a makeup store. I look inside. “Ew, are you kidding me?” I say. “You don’t like makeup?” He asks. “Hell, no.” I say. “That’s a first.” He says. I raise an eyebrow at him. “All of the girls I know wear masks of makeup. Just piled on there.” He says and waves his hand in front of his face. I laugh.
“Not me, oppa.” I say. “Nope, not you.” He says. “Let’s go to a clothes store.” I say. He looks so hot. Since when have I noticed or cared how hot he is? But, like, his black suit pants and black top. His dress shoes. His chains, his earrings. Girls’ eyes follow as we walk past and that irritates me because he is mine. Oh my God. What have I become?
Yoongi suddenly grabs me and rests his hand on my waist. I instantly put my arm around his back. “Don’t say anything. I see how your face is, don’t be jealous because you’re my wife. Not them.” He whispers. I nod and smile. I’m his wife, not them. “Besides, you're prettier than them in your own way.” He says. “Stop making me blush, oppa.” I say. He looks down at me and my cheeks burn.
“I remember the first time we met at this mall and you smacked me. It’s funny to think about how that was only 5 or 6 days ago.” He says. “Well, yeah. We’ve lived together for those days and I’d assume we know each other better.” I say. He nods. I reach up and hit his face. He smiles and pinches me. “Stob!” I say. “Say sorry for hitting your husband.” He says and looks up again as he leads us to the store. I stare up at him. “Never.” I say. “Fine, then you have to sleep in your own bed tonight.” He says. “Ok, I will.” I say and pout.
He laughs and walks into the store. I stare around at the clothes. They’re all so pretty. I let go of Yoongi and run around the store. He walks around after me as I look around at shirts and pants. Then I find a section for hoodies and almost cry. “Oppa, I found hoodies.” I say and point. He walks up behind me. “Don’t you have enough, baby?” He says. “Yeah, but why not get more.” I say and run to the hoodie section.
I grab a purple hoodie and cry when I see how pretty the designs are. A rose aesthetic on the back and ‘HAPPY HOUR’ on the front. I fangirl and fall on the ground. I jump up. “Oppa, look!” I say. “You have a lot of energy.” He says. “I love clothes.” He says. He nods, looking thoughtful. “I’m buying this. Now I need purple shoes.” I say. He nods. I quickly grab another one for Jungkook but his is red.
I run up to the counter and start to pay. “No, I’ll pay.” Yoongi says. “No.” I say, simply. He tries to pay but I smack his head and push him away. The clerk looks at me like I’m crazy for pushing him on the ground. I smile and pay for the hoodies. We walk around a while longer in the mall. “Can we get food, oppa?” I whine. He smiles and looks down at me.
“From where?” He says. “Let’s go to McDonalds!” I say. He laughs and we start walking to leave. Finally we reach the door and get ready to walk out when my name is called. “Chun-Ae?” A male voice calls. Yoongi turns around so fast, I’m surprised he doesn’t have whiplash. “Who’re you?” He asks. I turn around and look. “Yeonjun?” I say. “Chun-Ae, is that you?” He asks, looking at me harder. I run towards him and jump onto him.
“Yeonjun!” I scream. I hear his laugh and remember how much I loved it. “I missed you, Aeya!” He says. I slap his arm. “Ow!” He cries. “You haven’t texted me back!” I say. “I’m sorry! I thought you hated me!” He says. “I don’t hate you, idiot.” I say. Yoongi coughs. I look back at him. “Oh, Yoongi-ah. Meet Yeonjun oppa!” I say, introducing Yeonjun. Yoongi’s eyebrows go up. “Hello, I’m Yoongi.” He says. “Oh ok.” Yeonjun says. I nod, happily as we stand up. “Mhm, mhm. He’s my husband.” I say.
Yeonjun chokes. I pat his back and wait for him to calm down. “He’s your husband?” He says. “I mean, yeah. Don’t you remember? I told you that my parents had an arranged marriage planned.” I say. “But I wasn’t expecting it to be so soon. And are you happy with him?” He asks. Yoongi steps up and grabs me by my waist, pulling me to him obviously jealous. “He’s a bully sometimes but yeah. I like him.” I say. But that didn’t satisfy Yoongi.
He grabs my chin and turns it upwards. He places his lips on mine and slowly slides his tongue in my mouth. My hands fly to my stomach, loving the feeling that he’s giving me. Finally I pull away. “Yeonjun-ah, I have to go but text me. I missed you.” I say and walk over to hug him. He hugs me, hesitantly. I frown but Yoongi pulls me by my hand and we walk out the doors to the car.

Min Yoongi
He made me jealous. He was too close. His arms were too tight around her. They were hugging for too long. But she’s known him longer. I have no right to be jealous, right? But I am and now my lips are on fire, wanting to kiss her more. My eyebrows are furrowed, my hands are gripping the steering wheel. “Yoongi-ah, are you ok?” She says. I peek over. I look at her and pull over to the side of the road. “Were you trying to make me jealous?” I say. She looks confused now. “No, of course not, oppa. What’re you talking about? Why’re you jealous?” She says.
If I am honest with her right now, will that change anything? Will it change how she thinks of me? Will she think I’m a monster for loving her already? Am I wrong? “Chun-Ae, I love you. You’re beautiful to me and even though you’re feisty, I love it. Maybe I’m weird for loving you in four days. Maybe I don’t know you the way I should but I love you. And this is weird for me because I never say these things. Not to any girl I’ve been with have I done the things I’ve done with you. You’re different. You’re perfect. You make me smile and laugh. I think about maybe changing for you, being different. And I’m jealous because I love you so much. I don’t want any other man or whatever to have you. I want you to be mine and love me.”
The words play out in my head. She continues to look at me. “Oppa?” She says. “Nothing. Let’s just go eat.” I say and pull the car back into traffic.

Choi Yeonjun
Chun-Ae has a husband. Chun-Ae has a husband. What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to react? Should I love her still? Should I still talk to her? I don’t know what to do. I just don’t want her with him. Their kiss plays out in my head again. He grabbed her waist and pulled her to him then he pulled her face up to his. His lips touch hers and I see her smile a little bit. Her hands fly to her stomach like she’s trying to make a feeling go away. And I hated it.
