*RINGG* Oh shoot, oh gosh, I can't believe I'm late again!! I gotta find my bag and I- woah wait i gotta make sure i don't go to school in my pajamas again!! WAIT I- I WENT TO SLEEP IN MY STREET CLOTHES EWW "NOT AGAIN!". After rushing around combing her hair and putting them into pin-tails, she picked up her phone to check the time... she looked down to see the date... "Woowww there's absolutely no school today.". She really needs to listen to Tiki whenever she says not to undersleep.
Well it's still never a bad enough day to go outside, even though she can hear the rain pouring by the window. Nothing wrong with that, it's fun to go and enjoy the rain on days like this. walking down stairs to the front door, waving by to her parents and tiki hiding in her bag. She doesn't hesitate to pick up the umbrella hanging at the front entrance, right by the door.
Outside was beautiful. The sky was dimed but it was like you can see the pedals of water reflecting everything off the things around them. maybe she should sit in the park or go to the place that gives her inspiration for most of her designs... the park seems about right. walking over to the park, the water seems to get heavier, and something walking in the same area as her sparked her attention. Was that ADRIEN!!! The umbrella falling down and causing her to close her eyes right before someone rushed to save her from the drop of water. "How- How am I not soaked?" Opening her eyes and looking up she saw a clear view of the one and only. "ADRIEN?!?!?! I mean Adrien HI Thank you for saving me like that." Adrien laughed "Hey haha, no problem. Why aren't you at home right now?? It's pouring so hard."Marinette raised a eyebrow. "wait haha why are you out here model boy, shouldn't you be at home right now?" ..."Well I snuck out again, I don't like being inside; when days are so pretty like this." Wow he thought rainy days were beautiful too, how could he be so perfect. "Ahhh" "Um are you okay Marinette?" "Oh yes!! So you think rainy days are pretty too huh?" "yeah I definitely have for a long time, The day when I gave you my umbrella made these ten times better." Those words rang through her head like waves of pleasant emotions, thoughts, and anything that could make tulips bloom. "Oh wow.. Thank you." Adrien looked up to the umbrella she as holding. "speaking of that is this my umbrella? You must really like it too huh?" "Y Yeah I um well I LIKE YOU I MEAN WIAT Like it HA ha ha ha ha." "You like me?" "WaiT NO I MEANT LIKE THE UMBRELLA-" "I'm teasing I probably shouldn't be like that haha sorry." "Oh no IT's HOt I mean FINE hahaha" Adrien smiled at her before saying. "You know, the most beautiful thing outside right now is you, The way you helped me go on a trip all the way to new york and the fact that you're one of the first people I made a connection with once I started going to public school.. You're just extraordinary." Marinette's face blushing immensely. "Tha Thank you Adrien." "I might need to go back home soon before I get caught, Oh yeah here's the umbrella back." Swinging around and holding the umbrella over her head, The water started pouring even harder before a quick stop, and a huge strike of lighting reflecting off of the side of his face. "Thank you Adrien, really" She took the umbrella from his hand and let him walk away. But there was something tugging at her. Something about this felt... Familiar. She need to tell him something, finally tell him something! "ADRIEN WAIT I NEED TO TELL YOU-" Running up to him faster than she expected, she looked at him and continued. " Adrien I love you and I have since The first day we met, the day you gave me this exact umbrella. I've been only dreaming of telling you this everyday now, so please will you accept my love?" "Marinette, The speech you gave to me the other day made me feel so loved, the amount of heat you cheerish makes my heart skip a beat each time I see you, and now I finally understand why. The sun started to peek out as they both finally held each other and kissed while the rain fell around them both. There was something magical about that lightning. The end
