And No Birds Sing
And No Birds Sing
Intro

These are strange days...

Lirare, daughter of the river goddess, never told the barbarian prince about his child she bore. A hundred years had passed since he had last stepped foot in her forest but he returned one last time on the eve of war. Their child, sheltered Thistle, is thrown into the savage world of his nation as they win back their stolen homeland. As the last of her Clan, the ancient line of Kings called the Blackhelms, she has no desire to rule her father's people. But soon finds, she may have little choice.

Emoddess - Your introduction pulls me to the story 'cause I feel like it's just enough of a teaser to give readers a little gist of what the story would be! I think I might have to spare a little time in my schedule to check the rest of the story out :)

Cynderz - Maybe consider adding a quote from one of the characters. Maybe one that sounds inspiring or have deep meaning to the progression of the novel.

Frances - That's a really good idea!

Aretice N. Treader - I think you could put a little more detail into the synopsis to give the reader a better idea of what they're about to read, but overall it's very well-written. I admit I've already read a little of the first chapter, but I thought I'd go back and tell you what I thought of the intro. :)
