When the flight attendant announced that we would be landing soon, I turned to my left and shook Kendall awake. "Uh." She murmured groggily, lifting up her head. After I had informed her of what the attendant had said, she had instantly perked up. When the airplane had landed, Kendall and I had probably been the first ones to jump out of our seats.
Kendall had found both of our suitcases almost instantly and pulled them both down. Passing me mine, she exited the airport, probably wanting to get some air. I hurriedly followed her out, keeping my head down from the blazing hot sun.
Lifting my gaze, my dark brown eyes met the exact same ones from a distance. I quickly picked up my pace and once I was close enough, let go of my suitcase, running into Nick's arms. "Oh, baby!" He breathed into my hair, his arms tight around my waist.
While in my older brother's car, we all talked about anything and everything and I also made sure to call dad and tell him that we had arrived. When Nick pulled up to a huge mansion, I grinned, and was practically bouncing in my seat. "Looks like someone's glad to be home." observed Nick and I nodded fiercely, as he parked.
Pushing the back seat door open, I got out of the car, making my way to the trunk for my suitcase. I zipped it open and put my headphones inside, just in case I forget them. I zipped the case back up and pulled it with ease to the house.
"It's unlocked!" yelled my brother from a few feet behind me. Putting my hand on the handle, I took a deep breath before pushing it open. Leaving my suitcase next to the wall, I made my way into the living room. I saw Morgan and her fiancé; Matthew, along with some random guy and girl. "Hey!" Matt saw me first and he shot up out of his seat next to Morgan. Rushing over to me, he lifted me up and I laughed. "Matt!"445Please respect copyright.PENANAsBpQwvly8u
He put me down and grabbed my face with both hands and pecked my lips before wrapping both of his huge muscular arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around his waist and squeezed him. I felt a warm feeling in my stomach here, in Matt's arms. Well, obviously I did, I haven't seen him in months.
"Matt, let her go, we need her alive." Nick joked but Matt let me go all the same. Morgan then came and wrapped her arms around my waist, as mine went around her neck, pulling her closer. "I've missed you." I admitted and she let me go, pulling back to look me in the face, "Of course you did, baby." She smiled, okay, now bet me she's going to say something self-involving. "I mean, how could you not?"
Told you.
Jokingly pushing her away from me, I looked around the room, "I've missed this place." I nodded my head and Morgan hummed. "Okay, well, the wedding's not until for three weeks, so you've got a thousand things to do before then." She said and I nodded, looking back to her.
"Yeah; watch movies, sing, listen to music, sleep and repeat." I told her before turning back to Nick. "And you— Nicholas, actually had the nerve to call me at seven in the morning to wake me up."
But Nick just shrugged, "Okay, one, it was two days ago and two, your flight was at nine. What was I supposed to do? Let you sleep in?" He asked and I nodded, "Yes!"
My brother just rolled his eyes before taking Kendall's elbow, guiding her upstairs, to her room. Going to the stairs, I yelled up after them, "Hands to yourself, mister! She's only eighteen!"
"You shut up!"
I laughed, shaking my head and walked back into the living room. "Oh, babe, this is Josh and Kacey." Morgan introduced me to the other two people in the room and I nodded, crossing my arms. I took one arm out and waved slightly, "Hi."
"You don't mind if we continue this later, do you?" Matt asked Kacey and she shook her head, "Not at all, it's fine." She said and Matt nodded before turning to me. "So, how's school? You still have boys falling at your feet? Do I have to kill someone? Do you have a boyfriend?"
"School's school, yes every boy is after me. And no you don't have to kill anyone because I don't have a boyfriend."
"Aye, look at lil me." Morgan winked, "I used to have guys head over heels in love with me, and still do." She told me, as if I didn't already know. "You're only nineteen," I reminded her, "stop talking like you're a fifty year old woman, please." I pleaded and she laughed, shoving me.
"Please, to everyone else I'm like twenty-five." Stated Morgan and I rolled my eyes, not bothering to reply. "So, anything interesting happen in the last four days?" Matt asked and I shrugged, leaning back against the white wall. "Oh you know, just the usual."
"On the last day of school, I went over to Luke's house and we had our weekly hook up, and then—"
"Wait, what?" interrupted Matt, a frightened look on his face while Morgan just rolled her eyes and gave me a knowing look. "Do I need to give you the talk?"
"Oh, God, no!" I quickly exclaimed, before shaking my head, "I was kidding. I swear, it's like you haven't met any of the Campbells." I told him and I could visibly see him relax. He should already be used to us messing around.
"Okay, so what really happened?" He asked, licking his now dry lips.
"On the last day of school-" I smirked at him, "Luke and his friends whistled at us; like we were dogs and tried to get us to go back to his. And then, well, the next day Nick woke me up and practically cussed me out until I finally got up." I told them, shrugging my shoulders, thinking of ways I could get Nick back.
"Oh, I know what you're thinking," Morgan quickly interrupted my train of thoughts and my eyes met her blue ones, "and I'm in." She nodded, and I smirked before noticing that Matt was changing the channel, just flicking carelessly through the music channels, trying to find something he liked.
Seeing just a fraction of it, I stopped him, "Stop! Put it back." I ordered before yelling for Kendall to come down, which she did. "Oh yes!" She moaned, before starting to move her hips and I saw Nick looking at her and I discreetly slapped the back of his head.
"Ow!" He quietly hissed, rubbing the spot where I had hit him. "Cam, you have to do Snoop's part." Ken begged and I chuckled, but obeyed nonetheless.
"Shake what your mama gave you. Misbehave you, I just wanna strip you, dip you, flip you, bubble bathe you. What they do, taste my rain drops, kay boo. Now what you will and what you want and what you may do. Completely separated, till I deeply penetrate it. Then I take it out and wipe it off. Eat it, ate it, love it, hate it. Overstated, underrated, everywhere I've been. Can you wiggle, wiggle for the D, O, double G, again?"
"Okay; way too much wiggling." Matt quickly stepped in and changed the channel, but we barely protested because Ed Sheeran came on. "Oh god, Cam, you have to sing? Please, please, please?" Begged Kendall and I shook my head, pretending to cough, "Throat. Sore."
"Liar."
Nick suddenly turned on his heels and ran outside, coming back with a very familiar case in his hand. "Dad mailed it a few days ago." He grinned, handing it to me and I snatched it out of his hands, holding it carefully. "I'm still not playing." I told them and he sighed.
"Another time, yeah?"
I closed my eyes for a brief moment, and sighed. I damn well knew that he was trying to guilt trip me, but I didn't care. Taking the guitar out of its case, I sat down on the ground, as Matt rewinded the song and muted it. I started strumming the chords to the song and Ken started to sing.
At the end of the song, I swiftly put my guitar away, and took out my notebook, opening up a new page. Also grabbing one of the many pens that I had, tied with an elastic, in my guitar case.
Pressing the pen to the page, I scribbled down random sentences.
I tell you I've dreamt of this all my life as you hold me in your arms. Pressing your lips to mine, your fingers tangle in my hair.
Putting the pen back inside the elastic, I closed the book and put it into my case before zipping it up. "Hey, that was good." Kendall spoke up, but I just stood up and made my way up the stairs, making sure to grab my suitcase as well.
After taking a long, warm shower, I opened up my suitcase. I put on my favourite baggy grey sweatpants and a black bikini top with white polka dots. The top looked like a bra, so I just left it on and just slipped my phone into the right pocket of my sweatpants.
Feeling a bit peckish, I exited my room and made my way past Kendall's room, only to hear laughing. Immediately knowing who was in there with her, I kept walking, noticing that there was a Do Not Disturb sign on Morgan and Matt's room. Stifling my laugh, I hurried downstairs and into the kitchen.
I froze for a second, my step faltering when I saw Kacey and Josh in the kitchen. Josh was looking for something in the fridge and Kacey was at the table, on her phone. She was the first to notice me as she looked up, "Oh, hi!" She squeaked, making Josh turn around, "I didn't see you there."
I shook my head, waving her off. "I literally just came down."
Making my way over to the highest cupboard, I moved my hand around a bit, until I found what I was looking for. I happily pulled it down, closing the cupboard after and sitting down at the table, opening up the brown paper bag, spilling all its contents onto the giant table.
Grinning, I grabbed the pack of M&Ms and finished it in less than one minute. "How can you eat that so fast?" Kacey asked and I picked up a coca cola haribo sweets before lifting my gaze to meet the stranger's green eyes.
"How can you not ?" I spluttered, staring at her with wide eyes. "Well, it's just that.. Well, you're a girl." She reasoned and I furrowed my eyebrows but bit my tongue and dug into my sweets.
Hearing footsteps coming down the stairs, I looked up, only to see Nick entering the kitchen, shirtless in grey sweatpants that showed the strip of his boxers. Standing up, I watched him lean against the counter, his elbow resting on it. Walking over to him, I stood in front of him and traced his abs. "When did this happen?" I asked him and he chuckled, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"You mean, when did I get more abs than you?" He asked an I rolled my eyes, "Last Christmas." He finished and I nodded, pursing my lips. "Well, you did a damn good job," I nodded before heading back to the table to pack up my sweets. "Let's hope Ken appreciates all your hard work." I winked and his eyes widened, "I thought just two hours ago, you were telling me to keep my hands off her?"
"Well, two hours ago, you were acting like a — pedophile, now you're not."
Obviously, I cursed, but just like usual, Nick didn't care. "Well she was practically twerking, what did you expect me to do?" asked him, rolling his eyes. I just flipped him off before putting the bag back up in the cupboard. "Tell Kenny to keep the screaming down, okay?" I asked, gazing at my brother who hurried over to me and put me in a headlock. "Shut up!"
I elbowed him, successfully getting him to let go, as he held his stomach. "No, not as strong as me yet." I observed before putting my hand on his shoulder, leaning down to whisper in his ear. "Next time, I might aim a little lower."
Straightening up, I jogged upstairs and back into my room, leaving the door open. Falling down on my bed, I put on my headphones, and scrolled through my large music collection before finding Nothing To Lose , by E3. This song, is the bomb.
But, you look so good, it's hard to gather together a sentence, get it? | You won't be singing break up songs like that Taylor chick | I mean, considering the fact that we're at a high school party right now. And I'm not in high school, neither are you. So I mean, we could just, uhm, go back to, to my house.
Really inspirational lyrics, Drew. Really amazing.
And there's my sarcastic side again. But, I really do love this song, and Sunset Blvd, and I Love LA, and XO, and Chloe and— Yeah, I'm not going to name them all.
Nodding my head to the beat as I mouthed the words to the song, I didn't notice the person leaning against the door frame, arms crossed, just watching me.
