This is a work in progress. It's unedited and unplanned, with no outline or idea as to where it is going. I’ll probably continue post additions/revisions from time to time. Follow along if you're interested, intrigued or simply amused. I'm new at this and welcome comments and suggestions; the good, the bad and the ugly. Criticisms, grammatical corrections, plot suggestions, character revisions, praise and marriage proposals will all be given proper consideration.
This is a work of fiction. This isn’t me and these aren’t my kids. No one in this work of fiction represents anyone, living or dead, completely. Scratch that. None of my exes are portrayed in any of my characters, vile or otherwise. Oh yeah... despite its presentation herein the world is not ending, nor has it gone to pot... as of yet.

"There has always been... The Hope. However low a man may fall....there has always been a way out of it. There has always been... The Hope."
Year 2420.....40 years have passed since the end of World War 3. The world is now nowhere near to what it used to be. Fourteen safe zones were established all around the world, humanity's last refuge. The rest of the world has fallen to something worse than nuclear radiation and its fallout. The safe zones were divided and ruled over by 7 groups, the so-called 'The Watchers of God', answerable only to the frantic dictator cult 'Gods Mercy'. Midst this chaos, a mysterious man ascended from the depth of darkness, to be the Divine.
It is the year 2033. A devastating war has ravaged America. Driven by near starvation and the allure of freedom, they set off across the post-apocalyptic wasteland of fallen America in search of a better life.
With help from their friends, Margaret, a faithful loving friend willing to give up her life to protect them, and Bill a straight shooting, gun-toting, fast talking Texan, they must depend on one another to survive while being hunted for their lives. In the chaos, they get separated and are taken prisoner or are left to fend for themselves.
In this unpredictable, dystopian society, where martial law reigns, they must survive against rapists, thieves and the forces of nature in hopes of reuniting, and restoring their kinship with each other.

Korbin was a true criminal, a Mastermind in killing, torturing and hunting every and anyone either for money, revenge, or simply fun.
This was a mad world, so being mad wasn't nearly as bad as it was back in the day when everything was "fine".
But on the rotten day that his followers decided to riot, he finds something...annoying.
And here we are, with the players behind the curtain waiting for the lights to dim. An alchemist with a wounded past, a covetous god-king, a soldier waiting to die, a boy born from a corpse, and others in the this world so familiar. The Old World is long gone, with only ruins of steel and stone left behind. Now what kind of world will be left for the ones who come next?
It all happened so fast. The government and the military did little at the beginning, claiming it was nothing more than an aggressive flu strain. So many were infected that the sick to healthy ratio was 3/1. Then one day it was like a switch was flipped. Everyone who was sick dropped dead at the exact same time. Everywhere around the world. Numerous countries fell into anarchy from losing most of their populations, and martial law took a hold of the world. Thats when the dead returned, and the real battle had only begun.
Victor roams a lifeless city, determined to destroy the architect of mankind's downfall.
First appeared in writing.com for an SF flash fiction competition, but the moderator never called a winner, in fact, the forum just disappeared. So this could be the winning entrant.
Imagine that right now,I had the power to end your life; and could do so with the push of an button. But not only your life. Let's say I had the power to end the life of seven billion people. All of these complex and complicated lives suddenly being vanished out of existence. This, is Nuclear War.
What would happen with the survivors of this calamity? Would they reflect about the past and change our future, or would they repeat our mistakes? The Night Fox is a story that approaches this theme through the life of Lewis Kessel, during his attempt to change the Cisperian Empire.
