Salim Khdethrazai has lost everything—his family, his home, and his village, which was reduced to ashes in a merciless attack. Amid the ruins, he searches for his guardian and the village leader, Master Yylian, who with his last breath directs Salim southward, though the purpose remains unclear. With a heart heavy with despair and a fading will to live, Salim follows his final instructions.
As he ventures south, he is surrounded by a pack of Wolverine creatures, fierce and hungry. The largest of them, possibly their leader, steps forward, eyes gleaming with hunger. Accepting his fate, Salim smiles, thinking that perhaps Master Yylian meant for him to give his life to appease the beasts' hunger.
Kneeling and closing his eyes, Salim surrenders to the inevitable, ready to fall into an eternal slumber. But instead, he is cradled by the massive wolf, who transforms into a humanoid figure with wolf ears. The creature, the Great Wolf King, speaks softly to him, declaring that Salim will become his beloved son.
In that moment, Salim’s life takes a dramatic turn, binding him to the enigmatic and powerful wolf king, and setting him on a path where love, loyalty, and transformation await.
