James was a very loving and caring person, though he had a short temper. He worked in an office where he met Ana, a beautiful girl who was admired by many in the company. However, Ana rejected every advance made toward her. No one dared approach her because, when they looked into her eyes, they felt lost. Her eyes were like a flowing river, and her lips were like the petals of a rose.
When James joined the company, he saw Ana in the elevator and instantly fell in love with her. Ana, too, felt something deep when their eyes met, but she didn’t say anything. Their social statuses didn’t align, and so they didn’t talk much, even though they both secretly started loving each other.
At first, they kept their distance, not daring to express their feelings. But everything changed when the truth was revealed.
Ana was actually the CEO of the company. As the tension built up, James and Ana finally spoke. They confessed their feelings and decided to marry. However, the mystery didn’t end there. James was also a billionaire, but he had no idea. He had been raised in a foreign country with his mother, who had kept the truth from him. His father, a simple man from the village, wanted James to stay in the city for better education, and his mother had made sure James would never know about his wealth. She feared that if he found out, he would leave the city and return to his father.
She kept this secret until the day James decided to marry Ana. It was then that she finally told him the truth. Everyone was overjoyed, and the couple decided to marry in the village. After the wedding, they planned their honeymoon in Switzerland.
But there was another reason why they chose the village for their marriage. When James married Ana, he would inherit his family’s property in the village.
Upon reaching their Swiss home, James' mother came along with them, but little did James know that his world was about to shatter. The most shocking betrayal occurred: Ana and Lynda (James’ so-called mother) murdered James, taking all of his property.
But here’s where the story takes another twist. Lynda was not really James’ mother. She was a housemaid named Liza who had taken care of James when his mother brought him to Switzerland for his education. After a mysterious death, Liza convinced James' father, Michael, to let her raise him. Michael, a busy political figure, had little time for his son and agreed to leave James in Liza’s care. He was told that James' mother’s last wish was for him to stay in the city, and so he left his son without question.
But the truth didn’t end there. Liza’s son, Bryan, had fallen in love with Ana, and they conspired to take James’ property for themselves. They plotted the murder and faked James’ death, but their plan would soon unravel.
They took James' fingerprints to register the property, but when they went to the court, something shocking happened. The man who had died wasn’t James at all—it was his body double!
How did James figure this out? Well, before marrying Ana, he overheard a conversation between Bryan and Ana, and when Ana visited James’ home, she and Liza seemed to know each other far too well. James investigated and uncovered the entire plot. He also discovered the truth about his mother’s murder, which had been orchestrated by Liza.
Determined to catch them red-handed, James and his father, Michael, set a trap. When they went to the court, the property documents didn’t match, and everyone was left in shock. James stood in front of them, with his father and the police, alive and well.
In the end, Ana, Liza, and Bryan were all sentenced to death for the murder of James' real mother, and for plotting the murder of James himself. But there was another twist: James had used his brother Andrew (a notorious gangster) in his place to marry Ana, and so, when Ana, Liza, and Bryan killed him, the fingerprints didn’t match the property documents.
James, too, was sentenced to two years in prison for his role in the conspiracy, but justice had been served.
Ana, with a defiant look, spat out, “You may think you've won, James, but this is not the end. We will not leave you or your father in peace. Mark my words—revenge will come for both of you. We will haunt you from the shadows, and you’ll regret ever crossing us.
The words hung in the air like a dark cloud, and as they were led away, the weight of their threat lingered. James and Michael stood frozen, the chill of their words creeping into their bones.
It wasn’t over. The battle was won, but the war was far from finished.
