Write a nice romantic story. I look forward to your entries. Thanks!
So screw happy endings. They are to mainstream anyway. I want to read a tragic ending/story, because who likes happy endings, ami right.
Like the title suggests, write a piece about why you smile. Is it a special memory, a friend, that certain song. Any length. Write it anyway you want, I just want to know what makes you smile
Well, we've long past the month of love, but Valentines Day and I still have a score to settle and I'm not satisfied leaving it on a light note.
There's a saying where I'm from that no good love story ends with a marriage. And, granted, I will admit that there are plenty of happy couples out there in this world--unfortunately, happiness is boring. And we wouldn't want to bore our readers, now would we?
Your prompt is to either write:
-A relationship that ends in a tragedy,
-An unhappy relationship with both parties hating each other,
-A relationship that can never be, or as its more often known a forbidden love.
All of these and any other love story ending badly are valid, but let's not start cheating, shall we? No happy endings. This is a practice of cruelty, and no one will be left unscarred. Including the author.
(Unless, of course, you like that sort of thing. In that case, I congratulate you.)
Your challenge is to write a short story or a poem about a dare. This can be any genre (horror, romance ect.) But it must be shorter than 1,000 words.
Ik ik, another contest, but contests are fun.
-no word limit
-no set object
-new and original piece
Choose an object. Anything. It can be an ice cube, a grain of sand, a toothpick, or your lotion.
Write a short story from the perspective of this object.
Make it entertaining/romantic/action filled etc... you get the point.
Have fun with this, don't be afraid to get weirdly creative or crazy! I look forward to seeing what you come up with!!
Love stories about anything and any relationship. Don't want anything corny, and it had to be creative! If you ask me, I like a story with comedy. Let your creativity thrive and put it in a short story. Anyone is welcome to try and this is a no judging zone!
I am introducing another contest! Voila!
-Max of one entry per challenger
-no word limit :)
-original piece not used in another contest please!
-any time period you like (past/present/future)
-be creative/ think outside the box
-please keep it PG-13 :)
Listen to the song, and write a lovestory that you feel this song represents.
Your story can take place in any time period or setting. Think outside of the 'norm' for romance stories and feel free to write the story that you feel the most.
Winner will be chosen by I, the creator.
Like count will be considered as well.
Alright my little birdies! I hope you have fun with this (in honor of February)
Feel free to ask any questions you might have!
