I watch her carefully as she walks this way, she look's tired and has a slight look on her face of fear.
'Why are you staring at her?' Cain asks in a low voice
'I'm not staring just curious, the scent is strongest around her place and i'm interested why is she the one they want?' I say back trying tp keep my cool
'Well I will definitely look into it for sure, if i find anything i will come find you and Phill' Cain say's back
I know he is just as fascinated as I am about it, why this small place and why now. But at least it's fresh and we cant track it down alot faster that way, but I do need to try and talk to her about it and find out what she knows.
There is something about her I cant put my finger on and it doesn't help that her scent is driving me mental. I would happily go insane for her, I would happily kill and die for her. But as she get's closer I notice there's something faint inn her scent, something that is hard to notice amongst the other scents. It's smells like a old rare scent one that i've only smelled once but its faint.
It's like a sweet blood orange mixed in with pepper, I cant think where i know it from... i'll need to ask Phill abit later. We vampire's carry our own scent but also pureblood's carry the scent of their parent's along with their own scent. It made it easier for different clan member's to recognize each other and other clans to know if you was friend or foe.
'You guys sorted?' I hear Phill say from the living room area
'Yeah all done outside, everything all good in here?' Cain asks as we walk in and sitting down
'Yeah all good here, we wont be detected that's for sure' Phill reply's
'Let's get started shall we' I say to both of them, wanting to get this over with.
'Sure thing' Cain say's as he get comfy
'Well tomorrow we will meet the agent to take a look at the house, Marco, Sam and Fin are taking a look at the area as they search for the strigoi. plus they want to take a look at the building from outside, they will be updating us in a few hours' Phill say's
'Well there is a possibility that this town could be a target if one is here there will be more soon, It's a good thing we arrived in time' I say back
'Yeah i agree, it wont be long till more are here or nearby, it's strange that they have targeted a small town over the city' Cain state's
'That is true, i've sent a small report so far to the council and they are going to ask if there's anything similar anywhere else' Phill say's
'Well we will be keeping a track on them now and look at the house, it does seem big enough but just depends what work will need doing. But I am hopeful that it will be a great fit for us' Cain say's
'Let's hope as if all goes well we will be contacting the elders tomorrow and if all goes well we will get everything we need here in about two day's. I don't want to bring to much business here as I do enjoy that it's a small town' Phill says
We nod in agreement a place like this doesn't need building on, it has everything that needed but if we can bring something to the table to keep it floating and keep jobs here then we will find ways to make that happen.
'Well if that everything for now I suggest that we get ready and get some sleep before were going back out again' I say wanting to go to sleep sooner rather then later.
They all agree and Cain is the quickest out his seat and heading to his room, Dom and me laugh a little.
'Remember to wear headphone's we don't want to hear the porn from your room' I say with a laugh

We both giggle, he's the easiest one to wind up, we caught him once when we was 15 112 years ago and haven't ley him forget.

'I think she is my mate, her scent draws me in and when she left I felt weird and every time I see her, I just want to grab her and keep her close to me. She's intoxicating to me and I hate that I cant hold her' I honestly say to Phill
'I know I noticed your behaviour change when we got closer to the building and when you saw her it was obvious to me.' Phill say back while placing a hand on my shoulder.
'How is it possible she's human, I didn't think that we could mate with humans?' I say back feeling confused
'That's why I want a background check because it is strange that a human being mated to a vampire let alone one of high rank and long lineage' Phill says back
'I also notice something else with her scent, I trust you so I know I can say. Her scent had a small hint of blood orange and pepper. I know it from somewhere but I cant remember' I say to him
I watch as he thinks about it then I notice his face change like he had an idea.
'what is it?' I ask
'Do you remember the rumour of elder Draven and his mate Esme?' Phill say's
'which one?' I ask
'The one of a possible child, Esme wasn't a vampire when they first met. She hadn't been turned yet but the rumours was that they had been together and conceived a child. That child was destined to bring the two world's together.' Phill say's
'I knew the story of a child but didn't know about her being the one to bring humans and vampires together as one. As its impossible for humans to conceive and carry a vampire child.' I say
we heard story's of women either dying during the pregnancy or during the birth as the child would drain the mother and tear her apart from the inside.
'Well Esme wasn't just a human, she was the daughter of the warlock Caleb of the blood moon clan. So she was an exception ' Phill say's
'But what does this have to do with the scent?' I ask why he's bringing it up
'Elder Draven's scent is blood orange and pepper and that would be why. one her scent is sweet that would be the witch blood line as their know for such sweet scents and they draw in their mates naturally. and two why she has a hint of his scent he must be the child that's was rumored' Phill say's
'But how did she end up with the humans? why wasn't she tracked down by her own kind?' i asked feeling annoyed
'Only Esme can answer that one, she must of done everything in her power to hide her away as if she's in the wrong hands she is a weapon that can either break or make the future' Phill say's
'But it's very faint I barely noticed it and i'm like a blood hound I can smell things a mile off, do you think her witch scent is masking the other to protect her? as we both know strigoi wont be able to notice it' I say back
'It's very possible or her mum did something to help protect her so only certain people will be able to find her' Phill say's
'Okay we will need to get them them together to see if he can recognize her as his own' I say back
'Well he wants me to give him the decision of if we get the property tomorrow as if we do he would like to come down and see it for himself, if he does we can get them near each other and see if he reacts' Dom says
'Well lets hope tomorrow goes well, I just can't believe I have found my true mate I never thought I would after all this time' I say honestly
'Well for now we will keep it between us until we know as I don't want the same fate for her as I cant tell she will bring you hell in both good and bad. That girl will make you her bitch' Phill says with a smirk
'I know she already is, if she says jump in a fire I know I will just to please her' I say as I think of her body and voice
'Well that's enough for tonight I suggest you get yourself to bed as we have a busy day with everything that has happened in the last 2 hours' Phill say's
'Yeah ill get to bed now I shall see you in a few hour brother' I say as I head to my room
'See you in a few my brother' he say's as he head to his room as well.
I already know that there men dotted on the outer edge of the grounds keeping watch high up in the tree's. making sure that nothing happens tonight at least and to try and catch the sucker that has been around. I best quickly look out make sure everything is in order and i notice a dark figure walking up to her door.
It's hard to see with being exhausted after traveling for 14 hours none stop, and how dark it is. I shall be getting a light out there so I can see whoever is going to her door.
*knock, knock*
I hear coming from across the way, I watch as she opens the door and the light shows its just a police officer. But then I notice she's wearing the most skimpiest outfit. silk cami top and shorts, I think their night clothes but I wouldn't call them that. she pulls the dressing gown more tightly around her body but i'm pissed as I can sense the mans feelings, I know he's staring at something that isn't his.
Vampire's have many talent's we can either read people minds, thoughts and emotion's or we feel them as our own. Some can look into people's minds and see all their memories,
If he doesn't take his eyes off her and walk away I will drag him by his testicles and hang him from a tree. I very closely watch their interaction and see that he's leaving, thank god. How dare she answer the door dressed like that!! Before I know it my feet are taking me out the room and heading straight for the door, before I know it and can stop myself I feel my hand banging on her front door rather loudly.
I hear her coming back and I can hear her unlocking the door again, she seem's shocked that its me. She must of thought that the officer was coming back. Before I know it im just shouting at her for wear revealing clothes and having strange men at her door at such late hours. I can't stop myself its like my body and mouth have a mind of their own. It's the stupid mate bond bringing out the demon inside me.
It's such a strange feeling, i'm not used to being possessive over anyone or anything. Even when you choose a mate if your unable to find your true it's never this bad, this will take some getting used to.
Before I know it her face is fuming and it's hot as fuck, her angry is the sexist thing I have ever seen before in my life. What I would do to her right now if it wasn't to soon. I feel angry but i'm extremely turned on right now. But before I can do anything she's slammed the door in my face all I can do is storm off back inside and into bed.
'Hey what was with the shouting?' Phill ask's is a low voice
'Well I think that she is pissed at me and that she won't be talking to me for a while' I say
'Well storming over there and accusing her of having random men in and out isn't going to help' Phill responds
'I don't know what came over me, I just lost all control. I haven't done that in years' I say defeated
'That's the demon inside, he didn't like seeing another man around what's his. Get some sleep and we will sort it tomorrow okay?' Phill say's looking shattered
'Okay sorry I just don't know what i'm gonna do about her and to be this close and being able to touch her isn't helping' I say back
'I know get some sleep okay, we will sort it and soon she will be with you don't worry. The more your around the more she will feel a pull towards you' He say's as he head back to bed
I do the same going into my room opening the window slightly so I know if anything is out there and I lay down feeling my tired eye's close as i drift off to a deep sleep.
