I head over to my faviourt chairty shop, they always have the best stuff. We have a few rich people that live up the hill and they always donate things, they are always buying new clothes, furniture, shoes etc.
Even every season as they can't be seen in clothes form the year before as its not classy, they always donate as its their good deed to donate to the 'less fortunate' as they say. But there loss is our gain, the amount of designer things you can buy for next to nothing.
It's like a treasure trove and we live for it, some of the younger ones collect them and sell online for a profit. I don't blame them because why not, it keeps them out of trouble and they make some money out of it.
We have a small town of mini hustlers and i'm living for it, i've done it a few times and saved the money as a small rainy day fund. with the way my life is you have to be prepared for anything. But if I have to leave this time I'm going to buy a camper van that way I can just drive to my next place and I would buy a few number plates just in case.
but lets hope it doesn't come to that, I hope this can be my last place. I have so many good memories here. In a short time i've made enough memories to last a life time. Its a place that you just fit into, its a great community.
I just love walking around and smiling at everyone I see greeting them as we pass, its small and news travels fast but I wouldn't have it any other way. We look out for each other and we all keep an eye out on the kids, me and Angel was thinking of turning abit of unused grass patch down the side of the resort into another park.
The town doesn't have many and it would be a great spot for kids to play, plus we always have staff in the area so they would be watched and then there's the camera's we have around mean's extra coverage.
I was also thinking of an old building being turned into a community centre for the kids have activity's for them. plus everyone could use it have a tea and chat for the elderly.
I have a look around the shop looking for some new bits, I don't have many clothes i've always traveled light to make it easier. But I do need some more to replace some of the one's I have are fairly old.
I notice a lovely black dress form fitting and its my size, that would be great for work. Nice and professional with a hint of sexiness. Angel only ask's that we wear dark colours for work, black, grey, navy and navy blue. I grab it and notice a beautiful purple dress, it has a slight shimmer to it and its a slightly low cut on the front and backless. This will be perfect for tomorrow night with Isy.
we always start of in the pub then we always end up in an old abandoned building in a field about 20 mins walk. its part of land that doesn't get used anymore so it became like a club, the locals did abit of work to it so its safe and soundproof. The only rule is if you go, you must go back the next day to clean up as it's only fair.
I pick up a few more items like picture frame's, books, shoes a few t-shirts and some jeans. As I reach the till I get greeted by Lola, she's one of the teenage's that attends the college nearby, she's a good kid working hard while studying.
'Hey how's college?' I ask Lola
'Hey, its good i'm loving it, how are you? we all heard what happend' She asks me as she rings up my mini haul
'I'm okay, the whole town knows' I laugh back to her
'Yeah that's the thing with this place, everyone knows everything' Lola say's with a smile and a wink
'Ain't that the truth, but i'm glad your enjoying college, just remember to have fun' I say back to her
'Oh I will, ooo that's cute' Lola says picking up the dress
'I know, gonna wear it tomorrow when me and Isy go out' I say to her
'I can't wait to turn 18, it can't come fast enough' Lola says getting excited
'well it's only a few weeks away and you can join me and Isy when we go out' I say back to her
'Oh I will, when I go out id like someone older to be there to make sure i'm okay and get back home safe' Lola reply's
'We would make sure of that' I reply
once were done we say our goodbyes and I head out, think ill go over to the fountain that's located near the town hall. It's a great place to be its like a circle area with benches and flowers everywhere.
perfect to sit enjoy the sites and read or chat with friends, its peaceful listening to the water. Smelling the flowers and hearing the birds. Sometimes you can see them in the fountain having a bath, its honestly the most amazing thing. At night you see fox's playing about, its a great nature spot day or night.
There's something about this place that's just perfect, I feel at home here have done since I arrived. There's something about this place that just feels right, its like a comfort blanket.
I just stare at the fountain watching the water flow, the sound is like a lullaby to my ears. I could stay here all day long if I could, when im old and grey I want to sit here where its peaceful.
I check the time and see its been over an hour, I best get back before everyone panics. As I stand and grab my bag my phone begins to ring, checking the name already having a feeling who it is. 'mummy Angel' i see on my screen.
'Hello mum, how are you?' I say down the pphone
'Don't mum me, are you heading back?' she say's
'But why? It's funny' I reply
'No it is not you little shit, now get back home or your grounded' she says trying to be tern
'Yeah yeah, im heading back now, please don't ground me. Im going out tomorrow. Please mummy' I say back in a childish voice
'Just get back here, Mr ass is being a pain because your not here' Angel says sounding fed up
'I'll be about 10 mins did you want a coffee bringing back from paddy's?' I ask knowing the answer as I walk back towards the cafe
'You know it, make it a large please' Angel responds
'will do see you soon' I say before I put the phone down
Just as I reach the cafe i see a high end car park nearby, I'm sure that car was parked in our car park. If that's Mr ass then I'll be pissed, as I head inside I see the back of his head at the till. I quickly look around I see the others sat at a table, I guess I can let him off this one time.
'Hey girl, i'll be right with you' Lola says as she's making drinks
'That's okay, take your time babe' I reply back
just as I speak he turns around to see me, I instantly look at the menu trying to ignore him.
'That's all done for you sir, if you need anything else just let me know' Lola say's as she hands over the order to him
He heads to the table with the drinks along with cain, as he sits down I feel his eye's on me.
'Hey back already? Surely you didn't miss me that much' Lola say's as I walk towards the counter
'Of course I missed you, your the love of my life' I say to Lola with a wink
'Can you two get a room already' we hear her mum say from the back
'I keep asking her but she's alway's busy with customers' I say to her
'Well it's a good thing you two are going out tomorrow ain't it' Her mum say's back
we both laugh along with some regular's.
'The usual?' Lola ask's
'Yes please and a large for mother dearest please' I reply back
'Must be bad for a large, take it she's stressed?' Lola asks
'Yup you have no idea, i'll ring you later when your done. Plus we need to plan tomorrow obviously' I reply back
'Please do, we both know how much I love gossip' Lola responds
'Obvisouly,, I also got a new dress for tomorrow night as we both know where going to the barn. we always do' I say to Lola
'You are good to me, ooooo very nice. You must send me a picture later' Lola says with a wink
'You know I will, also did you wanna borrow that sequin dress?' I ask Lola
'Of course, we will go back to yours to get ready anyway' Lola says. like i didn't already know that
'Well here's your drinks I shall speak to you in abit' Lola say's
'Oh you will, speak to you later' I say to Lola as I head to the door
I head out back to the resort, knowing full well his eye's are on me, I do my best to ignore him not giving him the satisfaction. Heading straight back with a quickness in my step, wanting the full details of what's happened since i've been gone.
As I reach the main gate I spot Mark smoking on the side near the back, he doesn't look too happy if I do say so myself. He see's me and give's me a small nod, ill check on him after i've spoke to Angel.
I head straight to her office knowing full well that's where she will be, I can hear her shouting on the phone. Which is never a good sign, I brace myself ready for whatever i'm about to walk into. Quickly lightly knocking on the door before I step in while she's on the phone, slowly putting myself in a chair opposite to her placing the coffee infront of her.
'Hey thank you for this it's needed' Angel say's as she put's down the phone and picking up her coffee
'It's okay i saw them all in the cafe, i'm guessing they went there on the way out' I say to her
'i'm guessing so, as he made a few demands before they left. But not before he was demanding to know where you was' Angel say's looking exhausted
'Well he saw me in the cafe so he can back off, he really is starting to piss me off' I say back to her feeling why she's so annoyed
'Well let's hope that is enough to satisfy his royal hughness' Angel scarcastically say's
'Let's hope so, anyhow is there anything else you need?' I ask her
'No not at the moment unless you have a will to live in that bag of your's?' Angel ask's
It's her way of asking what I bought, she always love's it when i've been shopping as it makes her happy. She's abit of a shopaholic.
'Well let me show you' I say to her as I start to unpack the bag for her to see everything
I pull out everything showing her everything but the dresses as I want to save them fir last, I quickly show her the frame's, book's, t-shirt's and jean's first. Then I get out the shoe's I bought, then finally I get out the dresses out.
'Ooo that black dress is lovely' Angel say's looking it over
'That one is for work, just so I have a spare one' I say to Angel
'It's perfect, smart and sexy. You could have any man on his knees with the right shoes' Angel say's
'How did I know you was going to say that' I say with a slight laugh
'What is that?' Angel say's as she picks up the purple holding it up looking it over
'You like?' I say knowing she does
'Oh yes I do, it's stunning like absolutely stunning. You are going to look fine in this' Angel states
'I know that is why i'm wearing it tomorrow night as i'm going out with Isy' I say to Angel
'About time, you haven't gone out in so long, you deserve a night out to let your hair down' Angel say's
'I know it's well deserved, plus ill be recharged for when i'm techincally back at work' I say to Angel
'That is true, well they will be staying abit longer as there going ahead buying the manor house' Angel say's with an annoyed look on her face
'well ain't that just great, looks like we will be having just a great time of it' I say back to her
'Well you head home get some rest and read a book. just relax' Angel say's to me in her mother voice
'I will going to have a nice hot bubble bath, read and just enjoy myself for abit. After everything that's happened in the last 24 hours, it's defo needed' I say honestly
'Well go get yourself rested, i'll pop by abit later on' Angel say's as i grab my stuff and get up.
I head out of the office through the back to the cottage popping into the kitchen to see Liz and Mark and to get some food. I can smell the aroma's from the kitchen., smells like were having curry later.
'Hey guy's how is it going?' I ask as I walk in, seeing them both prepping the veggies along with washing the rice.
