I lay in bed struggling to get some sleep before out special guest arriving, I've managed to get about 2 hours broken sleep in total. I just haven't been able to shake of the feeling of being watched. I have a feeling something bad will happen, I'm worried that my bad luck will follow me forever.
I check the clock it's about 00:32am but I start to hear someone walking around my cottage, it's like there walking the perimeter. I slowly get up from my bed very quietly, and walk to the little monitor in the room for the camera's we have hidden around. Luckily after I explained everything about myself to Angel, she understood and agreed to have camera's up and around.
I see a black figure looking around in the dark, I press a panic button that alerts the police and Angel . I can't see there face but I see the same shaped figure in my nightmare's, a faceless person forever haunting me. I always dream about them just before something bad happens to me or someone I care about.
I get a phone call luckily it's on silent and I feel it vibrating in my hand and I answer it and put it to my ear but don't say a word.
'Are you in danger I hear Angel's voice from the other end of the phone.
I breath heavy to indicate a yes, we made a plan for anything that may happen.
'Just stay quite, I have the police on the other phone I've sent them a link of the live stream' She said in a calming voice
I try stay still and not make a sound as I watch the person in black keep looking into the windows. They get to the glass sliding door and give the handle a try, luckily I make sure there all locked and secure.
'The police are 5 minutes away, they said there don't have there lights on and in un marked cars' she says in a calming voice.
She knows that I'm panicking right now, I hear cars pulling up and so does the person in black. They look in the direction of the cars and voices and bolts in the opposite direction. And into the fields at the back of the resort, I notice some police officers get back in cars as I hear there engines.
'Are you okay? I'm heading to you now okay sweetie' I hear Angel say
I put the phone down and don't move, frozen in my spot unable to move or function. Even with the police knocking on my door, luckily Angel lives really close and has a key to get in. She ran over and opened the door, she knew exactly were I was and wrapped her arms round me tightly.
'Shh shh it's okay I'm here now okay?' Angel has her arms wrapped around me holding me close
'Miss we have some men on the person's tail, we will try catch them tonight' a officer states as he walked in.
'Thank you officer, right now is it okay that I get her calm ? I'll get her to write a statement as soon as she's able to. She's too shaken up right now' she looks at the man with a warning look
He responds with ' yes that's fine miss, but if you can get it done asap that will be a benefit for the case, also can we have a copy of the footage?' He asks in a tone with no emotions
'Your station had a direct link.of the live stream, and mentioned they will record on there end' Angel replied
She's never been a fan of the officer, I believe he is officer Damien, he's been a bit of a ruthless copper in the village. He's been known to take things into his own hands, some people support it others believe that the system should deal with criminals.
He leaves the room and we follow with Angel leading me from my room into the kitchen to sit me down with a sweet cup of hot tea. She gets a small handmade blanket to wrap around my shoulders to help comfort me.
It's one the first thing Angel taught me to make was a crochet granny square blanket, she taught me as a way to help process my feelings and keep me calm when I'm anxious.
I take some sips of my tea and calm down my shaken form, I always knew I was being watched wherever I go and whatever I do. This is why I'm always on the move but I want a home I want roots.

We both jump.as we hear Angels ring tone on her phone
'Its bobby, I'm just gonna quickly answer she says in a worried voice
Bobby is her husband, he works from home and looks after the kids mostly.
I her a Angel answer her phone from the living room 'Hey Hunny everything okay?'
'Thank God, yeah everything is sorted I'm just getting her to calm down she's in shock, I'll text you when I'm heading back. Love you' she ends the call and walks back in
I look up and ask 'Are the kids okay?' My voice still so shaken
'Yes there fine, he just wanted to see if you was okay. He wanted to come over but he knew you would understand' she replies with a smile and a hug.
She sits with me for another 20 minutes, I feel more relaxed and calm as I took my anxiety tablets to help. I don't take them often but they do help when I need them.
'I'm okay now Angel, you can head back home if you like'. I say feeling guilty
'I can't leave you alone, you had a horrible scare!' She looks at me with worry
'I'll be fine, nothing happened, plus there police around the resort as a precaution'. I reply, while trying to reason with her
'Are you sure you will be okay ?' She asks with concern in her eyes
'Yes plus I need some sleep before the guest gets here in just over 2 hours' I respond with a more confident look.
She nods and give me a huge hug, and texts her husband that's she's heading back home, luckily one of the coppers that's stationed outside walks her back home. There in a little shed that we have for storage, but it has a kettle, lights, heaters and a fridge.
It's normally used for the gardeners in the summer or the maintenance guys.
I lock up after she leaves and peek out the window and see the coppers keeping a look out. I fill a hot water bottle that has a handmade cover on it and fresh lavander in the cover. I take it to my room and get back into bed, I know I won't be able to sleep so I grab a book. I only have about 10 books, mostly unread.
The one I'm currently reading is the first harry potter book, I didn't get to read them growing up so I bought the set from a charity shop last week and decided to finally read them. I read for about 30 minutes and feel my eye kids get heavy, which will be from my meds and the scent of lavander.
I close my book and turn off my lamp and get cozy and drift off to sleep.
