My heart belongs to the moon

She sings to it a song as old as time

The melancholic loneliness of rising

To the challenge and the joy that

Hangs in the balance of a job well done

And so then I am very fortunate

I weave my own destiny tightly

Like the spider which weaves its web

In between the light fixtures in my kitchen

I let opportunity knock at its hardest at my door

For once I answer it and hold out open arms

I welcome the challenge of world unknown to me

A stranger in a strange land; out of my depth and

Holding out a hand with an open palm

A pilgrimage of the soul no one will understand
