She runs and plays like a child

Tippy toes on barbed wire

Feminine and feline;

gamine by choice.

Lace panties like dental floss

Barely 18.

She is, by nature, not as naive

She is, however, eager.

Tips of fingers and lips on skin

Light kisses in passion.

Lipstick grin, smudged by lust.

She plays with his hair

And rubs his back

And makes him feel special

Though she does not love him.

She is open without giving herself away.

And when she does give herself away

All her columns come down

Like the detriment of an ancient ruin.

She becomes raw.

She screams out his name-

In a moment of fleeting passion-

In a moment of intimacy by herself.

Until she cries herself to sleep at night

Until she cannot breathe.

Stupid stupid girl,

Punishes herself for what is-

Truly beyond her control.
