"Can you put that box right there?"
"I sure can!"
"Thanks! Apollo was it?"
"Yup! I'm here to help! Tina."
"Nice of you to come out and help!"
"I'll help you anytime you need it!"
"I'll keep that in mind, since the offer is on the table."
"I don't see boxes moving!"
"Right! Sorry, Mo!" The two chatters examined a frightening matter.
"Jeez! I can't believe I have to keep you in check Tina when this is your home."
"I know, I know. But, I want to know your coworker better. He's a nice guy."
"Nice guy!? Ha! That's the funniest thing I've heard all day!"
"Aww come on, Mo! He just ate your steak."
"That steak was going to be good! I also needed it for another reason..."
"Is it that girl you won't show the family?"
"Girl!? I haven't heard of any girl!" Apollo smirked at Mo whose face started to turn a bit red.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Mo crossed his hands and looked away from them, letting his words seem almost far away and distant.
"You haven't seen her either, Apollo!?"
"Nope! This is news to me too!"
"Mo! Mo! Mo!" They both chanted next to him, each of them on either side of him.
"Fine! She exists. She's a human. That's all you're getting or I'll cut off Apollo's leg and not help you move."
"Harsh!" The two of them screamed, before getting back to work.
AN HOUR LATER
"There are only two boxes left in there. You both can finish that part." Mya smiled at the two boys who waited on the count of boxes left.
"Alright, Apollo. With these two boxes, you'll be free."
"Right, right."
The air had a certain crisp behind it, the leaves barely moving.
"The sun is setting, let's grab these boxes and get back inside. It's freezing ." Mo in a more serious tone covering up his face that was pointing toward the light.
"Yup."
Each of them grabbed a box and walked off the now empty moving truck stepping onto the unsteady ground.
"I'll come over here later and fill in these potholes. There was a real disaster."
"Yeah. Sure. Oh, look at that cute rabbit!"
"Oh? Oh yeah, that is pretty cute. Now, let's hurry this up."
"Yeah, yeah. Hey. Hey! Hey, you stupid dog get away from that rabbit!"
IN THIS MOMENT APOLLO FELT SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN HIS HEART. IN HIS BRAIN. TO PROTECT
"I said get away."
"Apollo!? How'd you get over there so fast!?"
IN A FRACTION OF A SECOND APOLLO RAN TOWARDS THE DOG AND SMASHED ITS HEAD IN.
"Holy shit. You're a psycho! What the hell are you doing!?"
"I- I don't know."
"What's going on out here!? Oh my god. Apollo! What the heck!?"
"I don't know."
"Are you okay!? What happened!?"
"I need something."
"You... need something!?"
"Yes. I don't know what it is though."
"Are you okay!? Is he okay!? Brother!?"
"I don't know. Tina. I never saw his eyes look so dead before."
"Can. Can someone give me something warm?" Apollo asked before passing out.
