"You're hot down here, correct?" Phoenix started taking her attention.
"I am. So?"
"Where he's taking you there are places that can make you so cold you'll shiver. Heck, you can skate on the ice with your friends. I used to skate with my siblings!"
"Again, you're giving me words with no substance."
"Koji?"
"Yeah?"
"How good are your swordsmanship skills?"
"I say there are some of the best you'll ever see."
"Can you direct your power into making a small hole, not too small where it's not noticeable; however, make it so nobody can fall through?"
"I see, trying to prove a point! I like that!"
"Everyone stand back!"

I knew I could do it, just enough for them to look up and see the world from above. That's when everyone ran towards the hole to see what we were referring to, the smiles and surprise tones are something I always remember.
That's when something reached my forehead, something wet. It was raining above, and it looked like an hour or two away from dawn. This fight has really taken us all night to do. That's bizarre.
"Alright, you convinced me." The girl said putting down everything and walking towards the group. I had forgotten where I was from looking up."
"Well, I'm definitely not going." The little boy that was fighting me on it from earlier screamed out and crossed his arms.
"Why?"
"I know it's a trap. I know you're tricking us!"
"How come?"
"That's what people do! They tell you something but then do the opposite. I don't care if the world above us is real. I know it's all a trick from the officers and you're all going to go to the Sleeping Room! He broke the cameras so you'll all be fine to go back to your stations without being caught. This is one big test.'
When he said that some of the kids started to walk back to their chairs and start working again.
"All you need is evidence, right?"
"What?"
"I said, all you need is evidence. Right?" I then pulled out my sword.
"What are you doing?"
"Proving it to you." That's when I stabbed right through my arm, letting the blood drip straight to the ground.
"Are you crazy!?" Phoenix said and I gained the attention of everyone down there yet again.
"Crazy? Maybe. However, I want to prove a point. I can tell you're a man of full trust and hate the fact of a promise being broken, aren't you?"
"Yes. Yes, I am."
"Then I swear on the blood I shed today I'm not anyone with any ties with the officer here. Shake on it?"
"Koji the sword is still inside of your arm."
"I need him to shake on it, Phoenix. If this is the only way, then I'll go the distance!"
"You're crazy, Koji."
"So be it! So, do you trust me?"
"I- I do. Everyone, I trust him. If I persuade you otherwise please reconsider and escape with him. He offers a more full-filling life, something a lot of people can't offer you! So let's go!"
That encouraged everyone to get up and start to try to escape, except for one.
"What's your reason? What can I do to convince you?" This boy felt off to me but I don't know why.
"I have an issue with you, personally."
"What's that?"
"Why are you convincing these kids of a better life?"
"I have a better question... Why are you saying these kids instead of all of us? If you were a kid you would have said everyone or all of us, correct?"
"Well, I wouldn't group myself in with them."
"Is that because.... You're not a kid at all?"
"You're smart, I like smart people. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Officer 2, name is Light."
"Light? Well, I can tell you, your name doesn't suit you at all! I also don't like you! I'm so tired I can nap right now, however! What you did to these kids is unacceptable! So I will finish you off, take these kids to safety and take a nap!"
"You think you can compete with someone who is clearly outside of your league!? Don't become stupid now kid!"
"I'm going to say it again! I don't like you, and I'm going to beat you and take a nap! If you found an issue with any of the things I said... Fight me for it then!"
"You're already hurt with a sword inside of your arm due to you're suicidal tendencies."
I turned around to the kid, I saw earlier who was now behind and I can sense he was scared. Even if he didn't want to show it.
"Kid, what's your name?"
"I don't have one. Only some kids got named or gave themselves names. I have a number, however."
"Then, I'll call you Red! Red, allow me to take the sword out of my arm and use it for combat!"
"Yes! Beat him!"
"Thanks!"
I then pulled out my sword. I need both of them to beat this man, even then I might die trying. I'm still in a bad condition however, these kids have gone through far worse than what I have. They don't even have friends to cry over, so I have no right to complain right now!
"Phoenix! This is your first mission! Take these kids to the safest location down here! Then come back and see my health condition! If I'm dead, take these kids to the surface and find the nearest police station!"
"I'm just as young as them, if not even younger than some."
"I know! However, you're the only one I can trust and leave with this task! Please!" I ripped my shirt off and tied it around the stab wound. I'll need new clothes after this, all this ripping towards them.
"Alright! You better not die then!"
"I'm not counting on it!"
"You're not counting on it, you said?" Light said, standing up and walking towards me.
"Go now!" With that all the kids and Phoenix left and anytime Light tried to get at them I blocked him away from them.
They went a far distance. There no longer is my detection. I also can't sense a single gaze.
"So, is this your favorite thing to do? Self-sacrifice?"
"It's a trend I found interesting!"
"It makes me sick that people like you exist."
"Same goes for you... But, at least I'll exist at the end of this."
"How about we get to fighting since we both clearly hate each other!"
"Gladly!"

I forced a clash on him to see his overall power, if this is just the beginning of his power... he'll have more than enough to kill me. I need to save my pack style for when he goes higher, everytime he raises a bar I'll raise it by two!
"Calculated Kick! 5x!"

Dammit, I got kicked right in the stomach. I can already feel heavy pain, from using all the pack styles and already being damaged from before. I think my bones are starting to crack! I can't take another hit!
"It seems like you're already at your limit! Well, I'm not at mine! We got the whole floor to ourselves! Fight me!" He then threw me into the sky with the one hand he didn't use for his attack and tried to punch me down to the ground which I dodged feeling it into my detection.
"Light & Darkness Slash!" I managed to get a cut on him but it was small and barely hurt the man considering he had enough energy to try to kick me which I dodged and cut the roof above us to make the rubble fall. With that, I kicked a rock his way to make some distance between us so I could fall down safely.
"You're exceeding expectations! You're also alive for longer than expectations! You truly are remarkable."
His words mean nothing. Well, they should mean nothing but after what happened today, it hurts to hear praise given to me. Even though he doesn't know anything and his words are only to throw me off, they still hurt. A lot.
"Remarkable? I'm remarkable? That's the biggest lie I ever heard! Two Sword Style! Dark Clouds On A Sunny Day!"
"You're easy to predict! A simple cut won't work on me!"
"Who said it was a simple cut?"

I have to use everything in my arsenal and come up with things on the way! A slice so fast to make my illusion appear in front of him while to the side of him! It's simple, if he's a Top Two it must not be for his strength and coordinate ability but for his smarts. Regardless, another free cut!
"Don't get cocky now, I'm not a complete idiot. Everything I say and do is intentional and is meant to throw you off. I'll be taking this." No, he wouldn't.
SNAP
My blade for my dark blade snapped right in half and dropped to the floor. I was only holding the holder to the sword.
"Yeah! This is a man we should listen to! How do I get my swords back!? Z just gave them to me and he looks like the one to give you lip about losing something like those swords! Plus, they're really cool!"
"You Bastard, you absolute bastard."
"What? Did you like that sword or something? That pitiful excuse of a sword. None of the swords down here would ever snap like that."
"You, Bastard."
"I was going to say, I would never give up my blades for someone else's. However, I broke my previous blades climbing out the deep ditch with two people on my back. Also, those blades, are the type of blades I'm looking for."
"Well, hopefully, you like your new swords Koji."
"You broke it."
"Of course I did! Why are you so confused?"
"You broke it."
I never had a moment where I can recall snapping. Sometimes I've been very angry but to the point where I snapped, never. I thought I did but this brings another type of pain. After all the shit he did, he also broke the one thing I had of Z that was left.
"I'm going to kill you."
"What was that?"
"I said, no matter what happens, I'm going to kill you."
"That's what I like to hear! However, even with your aura changing you still are hurt and haven't been paying attention."

We clashed yet again but this time it's getting harder to clash with him. I think I already used too much power in the Mind Of Agony, I think I lost my Zoe. I can't kee-
With that, Koji went flying and went unconscious from all the mental pain and stress and the loss of Zoe. All that and hitting the wall made Koji fall unconscious.
"You had a penalty, but you're still siding with the other agency. If only you sided with us. I mean, you still can! Choose now! Choose us now! If you care about your life, say it! Say it!"

"You are still a little conscious! Come on say it! Before you go unconscious again!"

"That's right!"
"Would never join you guys, even at the cost of m-y life!" That's when Koji looked the man in the eyes before he couldn't keep them open.
"It's sad, isn't it? To be so sorry for people who are only weighing you down. If only you sided with us. Die!"
It sucks, doesn't it? Having to die after you tried your hardest to save everyone. When your death matters the most, you die. Those kids bet their lives on me, I know they did. Here I am on the ground and I can't get up... This is it for me. Goodbye, Everyone I leave the rest to you guys. Hopefully, my failure does something.

"I would appreciate it if you don't touch my friend! He's a nice guy!"
Koji opened his eyes again and he couldn't see much, his vision was blurry but what he did see was someone in front of him with Golden hair.
"My ears didn't deceive me, I'm so glad." Koji never smiled so hard in his life, even though it hurt so bad to do so.
"You can rest now, Koji. I'm going to pay the favor back for us. So if you can give me your ambition and strength that would be splendid!" That's when Kingsley kicked light across the floor.
"O- Of course."
"Who the hell are you!?" Light said coming out of the rubble and seeing Kingsley holding the broken blade and placing it down next to Koji.
"Koji, before you rest. Where's everyone with you? Z and everyone?"
"Kingsle- Kingsley, he- he."
"Koji. Please tell me that he's okay."
"Kingsley, he died protecting me. I was too slow to get to him in time as well! I- I-"
"He's dead."
"I'm sorry."
"No, don't be. It's not your fault. I'm going to beat that man down and get you safe as well. I'm sorry, I was gone for so long and I couldn't prevent anything."

"Koji, it's okay. You can rest for now, when you awake everything will be okay."
"This payback with the kid in the hole? The one who yielded?"
"Totally."
"Okay then, thank you." With that, Koji closed his eyes with a smile and a single tear going down his face.
"Are you done with your reunion?"
"I am. That's not good for you however, I'm going to beat your ass! No matter the cost!"
"That's what the one on the floor said, and look how he turned out."
"Don't ever badmouth him again. He's the strongest person I know! He can withstand ten times more things than what you could ever."

"Colored Flames: Orange n Yellow!!" Kingsley and Light clashed screaming at the top of their lungs. That's when Kingsley kicked Light again.
"There's no way you're on my level!?"
"I'm usually not, but the anger I have for you... Goes deeper than any amount of power you can find in yourself."
"You're Mind Of Agony... no way!"
"I'm going to kill you. I'll fulfill my friend's promise."
"I'll just use max strength here! 20x!"
"Tide Splitter!" With that before the air could even reach Kingsley, it got pushed away from the solid energy slice that went towards Light again and light got hit again.
"You may have speed but your strength is subpar."
"I'll show you subpar! Burning College!"
"A shuriken of flames! It can also travel through the air! That's a good one, however! -5x!"
"Your ability is smart, I understand it. You care to explain it before I do?"
"My ability is using math as my main source of attacks. I can multiply the amount of damage I do, I can subtract how much damage you do, I can add how many limbs I want to myself, and can divide the damage between the both of us. Care to explain yours?"
"My ability is Colored Flames! The higher the scale I change the colors of my flames to the hotter they get! I can combine the flames to also stabilize the ability."
"A simple one, but effective."
"You'll get to see how effective it is up close."
"I'm not going to hold back against you."
"I wouldn't expect you to."
"Great, I need you dead."
"Try to block this bastard!" He dashed straight towards Kingsley and Kingsley immediately clashed with the man but this time he kicked Kingsley making him hit the wall inches away from Koji.
"Tried to get a two for one but one was still fine!"
"You dare hurt a man, while he can't defend himself! You're right, my attacks were too weak before. I see that now. Let me show you something that is more up your alley. Colored Flames:
