Rowan used the opportunity to walk over to her slowly and made sure not to frighten her again. He could feel their connection and the bond, wafting over their heads. How can she not feel this? The electricity danced between them, and it was intense. Being so close to her and not able to touch her, made Rowan sweat. He could smell her scent; she smelt like sandalwood mixed with her perfume, regardless of how many days she spent unwashed in the forest.
