When they reached the entrance to where Rowan was kept, he realised they weren’t in a room at all. They were in the forest and the sun was blinding. Harold led him to a freshwater pond that was nearby the cave mouth. Rowan surveyed the area and noted the armoured soldiers around the perimeter. He concluded that they must have made camp in this spot, but the forest looked unfamiliar. He knew they weren’t in the North anymore as the trees were less clustered and there was more floor coverage in the forest at home. The forest almost looked made to fit a purpose. Rowan used whatever time out in the open to enjoy the sun and Harold released the chains so he could reach the water. Harold lashed him on the back again with force to make him walk back to the cave. When they return, Harold bolted the chains back to the wall and Rowan felt the full force of the wolfsbane. Each time felt worse and it’s enough to drive a wolf insane. Harold left without another word and Rowan curled up on the floor. He wished that Ivy found him soon.
