Kristoff "Chris" Williams is sent off on a mission to attack Voronezh, Russia, the very same town he grew up in for three years of his life. His plane is shot down and he is taken prisoner in the Russian prison camp of Voronezh. The officer in charge is an extreme sadist, known fearfully by the prisoners as The Commander.
