"Kid, what you're saying can't possibly be true." The gangman explained, carrying the gun in his hand and pointing it at the boy. "You don't have an army of cultists willing to follow whatever you say. Heck, even I'd wish for that."
"Do you want to know what it's like to lose your mind?" The boy asked, turning his face to remove his thick, curly hair from blocking his eyesight. "Not everyone wants to know. The truth is, it's easy. 'Can happen in a few seconds, if you want it to." He grinned. The gangman put the gun right on his forehead. "Not everyone wants to know how it is to die. If you do, then today's your lucky day."
"Very well. Have it your way." With that, the boy grew deep blue horns out of his skull. The gun turned into a venomous snake, which bent backwards and bit the gangman. He screamed, falling to his knees. The snake then slithered and bit the rope which tied the boy to his chair. He now was in his true form, with blue skin, and a green viper by his side.
He walked to his backpack, not listening to the gangman's screams. He got out the drink. It was a piercing purple, like wine. "Listen." He hushed the gangman's silence. "I-you-" He was breathing heavily, tears falling from his eyes. "Drink this, and let your pain dissappear. Their is nothing better than washing all this away." The gangman, tears still streaming from his eyes, drank the class. His eyes became swirls, and they melted away entirely, replacing his iris and pupil with white. He smiled, for the first time. "It's gone." He slurred his words. The boy helped him get up, and they left the warehouse together, joining the rest of the boy's cult.
