“Ocean Horizon…mysterious…mermaids and such?”
“Oh… which fairy tale are you talking about?” Hendrik asked back.
“NO, BURNT BUN!” Nerd gave a light slap with an irritated face. "You said criteria earlier, right?"
“WHAT KIND OF CRITERIA, GORILLA!? THAT LOOKS LIKE A BED OF TALE TITLE!?” added Hendrik after a moment of silence. His eyebrows rose. “Ooh… actually there are two, anyway….”
(Tch, if not friends I made him become my dinner last night! This burns bun!) The nerd was grumbling inside his mind.
Within ten minutes, Hendrik got the result.
The Etherberum Obscura before Nerd showed a spherical planet with rings.
“Of the two points earlier, this is actually the first I recommend. Because you said… uhh…, Ocean horizon? So I assume you are looking for the characteristics of the ocean biome. Planet Larthorinus is dominated by 60% of the sea with small islands. Their plains consisted of prairie biomes, forests, mountains, well… everything looked normal. But some things to note are the many unknown monsters and their dimensional pressure levels. How?"
“You're right…” Nerd swapped, rotating the hologram of the planet. He zoomed in on the ring.
“In that ring field, Hendrik, is that… a spirit field? Do you think there is another life?”
“Hm… I'm not sure about that….” On Hendrik's computer screen, it was magnified in certain parts, something seemed strange. “Well… take a look at this.”
Nerd got up from his seat and checked what Hendrik found. It looked like wings were faintly obscured by the mist from a large part of the ring. Mist and fine cotton fibers.
“Hoi, hoi! If it's a Void creature I could get hurt! Especially those in the sky like that!” Nerd Squinted.
“Ah… that's right. It's a hassle if it's Netherserpentra or Tiamat,"
Nerd shook his head. "Yesterday, my team was nearly wiped out by Tindalos!" then he bit his thumb. “Tindalos didn't come alone, also if they was cut in half with a cheap weapon, they would split into two. They can split up to sixteen equal parts!”
Hendrik glanced at Nerd whose face was covered with panic and fear. That expression was that of someone who had experienced panicking in the field.
"That is true…. Let's forget about this one,” replied Hendrik.
Nerd sat back down. “Tch! Even though it's almost! Anything other than a void creature from the sky…”
Hendrik shifted the next data. "Well... I still have one more data, don't rush like that, you idiot!" Hendrik casually picking his nose.
"As usual your mouth needs schooling, burnt bun!"
The next planet is almost the same as the previous one, only without the rings. The planet is round, almost all blue.
#Hah… (sighed)
Hendrik lightly slam his forehead.
"Why? If you're tired tell me!”
“You idiot! This is how you talk to Gorillas,"
"So what?"
Hendrik sighed a second time. The dark elf man's face looked reluctant.
“Well, this is actually the planet that is in the history books.” Hendrik walked towards the bookshelf.
“Eh?” Nerd turned.
The book is from the back shelf with the front position. The book is not too thick but uses a black hard cover. Hendrik opens on a certain page.
“It says here that there used to be a great war on the planet itself. The merpeople's war with the mixed-race nations that occupy the land. Back then the land on the planet was about 30%,”
Nerd swiped and rotated the planet's facade on the Etherberum Obscura. “30%? But… isn't this even less?” it seems that the left and right up and down all the waters, except for nodules at certain points which are very minority.
“The war was sparked by a queen who was kidnapped and until now has not been found. The merpeople blamed the mainlanders. Until now, no land people inhabited the planet's islands or archipelagos. And because of that war, the remaining land became 15%.” Hendrik closed the book. "Well, at least that's what's written in this book,"
“15%? It's not even 5%!” Nerd protested in disagree.
Hendrik back to return the book to its original place. While Nerd checked on the monitor screen the name of the planet. His eyes widened. Something seemed to knock on his mind.
“That book was written at least a century ago? Well, by the way…”
Hendrik sat back down in front of his computer.
“That planet is named, Lustenora.”

9 p.m.…
After ample rest and preparation, the man with the round glasses, Nerd Fulbright, was now standing by in the special room. A very important place in the interdimensional expedition security and research service building. That place has about five dimensional vortexes inhabiting small capsules or known as Linked 8/2 Portals. The portal was capable of teleporting objects according to the coordinates of the Etherberum Obscura, with an 80% success rate or at least that was what 8/2 meant.
Nerd, dressed in office black suit style with a cute sling bag in the shape of a green frog head with round marble eyes. Nerd's expression beams with joy, accompanied by the only two people who know him very well, Nibella and Hendrik.
Yes, very ironic for a man who had just received the constellation's highest title, Master Inventor. Since that choice, Nerd who was about to leave was not the least bit enlivened or even witnessed by the higher-ups in this building. Nerd looks like he's been kicked out, but with subtle delivery and respectful gestures.
"What have you brought?"
“Well…” Nerd's index finger lightly stroked the frog's head bag.
The frog's mouth expands and deflates and shoots out a magic board. The magic board is similar to a hologram except that it uses magic power. The magic board contains information that only the owner can see.
"At the Caterdel material warehouse accompanied by old Fidelius earlier... I asked for around 10 tons of iron, 2 tons of silver, 20 tons of wood, 1 ton of gold bars, 25 tons of machine cores, 5 tons of uranium, 5 tons of gunpowder, 100 tons of cement, 50 tons of red brick, used oil equivalent to 20 tons, and new oil equivalent to 2 tons," Nerd said reading out the magic board information.
“Hm…” Nibella folded her arms and turned to Nerd's sling bag. “The fact you have that Magic Duffel… lessens my worries a bit. Now, I can't believe you got that rich buying a Magic Duffel, Nerd?”
"Oh my god! Do you want to go and rob the government material warehouse?” Hendrik said casually while his pinkie was scratching his ear.
Nerd held Hendrik's shoulder in a strong eagle grip. "RATHER THAN TAKING TERRITORY , THIS IS FAR BETTER, IDIOT!" Nerd frowned, filled with veins, in a ferocious voice.
"HOI! RELEASE YOUR DIRTY HANDS YOU FOOL!?" Hendrik growled, putting on his thug face.
Now their foreheads meet each other. Their faces are just as ridiculous. Their right hands interlocked and you could see the muscular muscles as if they were fighting each other.
"ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY?"
"SUPPOSE YOU CAN DIE BY A SHARCTOPUS?"
They tightened their arms even more, while their faces were like plastic bottles being squeezed by a madman. They winced at each other.
"YOU WISH TO FIGHT, BURNT BUN!?"
“I SERVE YOU ANYTIME, GORILLA!”
So…
#BRRUAAK!
Nibella grabbed the two morons and banged them pretty hard.
"Geez! Are you kids? YOU MAKE ME SHAME!
After that ridiculous predicament, Nerd added that in his Magic Duffel there were also some other materials he found during the expedition. Nerds told them not to worry.
"As a replacement…." Nerd put his right hand into Magic Duffel's mouth. His tone sounded excited. “TAAA DAAAAAA~! A Transmitter Dimensional Cam!”
Nibella and Hendrik were wide-eyed and shocked. Nerd pulled out two 5-inch transmitters with half screens. Especially Hendrik who looked amazed when he received the object.
“Hooo… despite your geeky glasses and gorilla face, you did your homework well….”
“Your mouth has never been to school, has it? Ugghh…,” added Nerd. "By the way, with that tool I can send videos of my condition and you can share information about your condition!"
“Wow! What about the blueprints for this thing? Hm… this thing is good for the development of this place's facilities.” Nibella flipped the transmitter back and forth. She seemed curious and looking forward to how the tool worked.
In fact, the tool that Nerd gave to his two colleagues just now was the tool that was found for the first time. With Nerd's abilities, it's not surprising that the Master Inventor title isn't fake.
Nerd ignored her and immediately approached one of the Linked Portals. He bowed slightly.
“Then… I'll take my leave first. Thank you for everything,"
Two human faces looked at him seriously with great emotion. Nerd is proud of two good people now with him. After all, he had no one but them.
“You really are…” Nibella had tears in her eyes. "Even though you're stupid, I hope you recover from your stupidity!" Nibella embraced him quickly.
“O-oi… is that what should be said at farewell?” Nerd smiled faintly.
"Oh my god..." Hendrik folded his arms, closing his eyes. “Even though you're stupid, geeky, and a gorilla. I will still remember you as a stupid and geeky gorilla….” Hendrik turned around and waved his hand indifferently.
“OI! WHAT WAS THAT SHOULD BE SAYED AT A LAST FAREWELL!? Ugh….” The nerd was a little irritated, then he added. "Then I'll go first!"
Nerd stepped inside the portal. The portal's swirls turn white.
“Oh! I forgot to prepare the practice report for tomorrow!” Nibella stepped out. “Please keep track of Nerds and keep me updated, Hendrik,”
“Yes, ma'am!”
Nibella left the Transmitter D. Cam on the table. Hendrik was about to remind her but the woman had left in a hurry.
So…
Hendrik held and stared for a moment at the Transmitter D. Cam.
Then he sat facing a computer connected to the Linked Portal where Nerd entered.
In a few seconds…
#Klilit! Klilit!
The notification light located above the capsule is green. A message on the computer reads
“Subject has successfully teleported”
“Coordinates -> Lustenora”
#Hah… (sighed)
Hendrik breathed a sigh of relief. He pocketed the transmitter and walked out of the room.
