Liam and I walked out of the brightly-colored arcade, exhausted from the long session of "Dance Dance Revolution". "So where did you want to eat?" Liam asked, looking at me with fond eyes. "Hm, I hear Yum-Yum Noodles is good, though I haven't ever had it" I replied, looking back at him. "Sure, I'm up for that; I've had it before, it's pretty good" he smiled, walking faster like he was trying to race me. I raced after him, trying to keep up with his pace. Liam was taller than me and he took longer strides, which made him faster than me; but, eventually, I caught up with him and kept up with his pace.
We arrived at Yum-Yum Noodles and entered the Japanese-style building. We were instantly hit with a wave of ramen, pho, and curry smells that were coming from the kitchen. I let out a deep sigh as I took it all in.
Liam and I took a seat in a booth and a female Korean server came over to our table. "Welcome to Yum Yum Noodles! What can I get you to drink?" she asked, kindly. "I'll have a sweet tea" I replied, giving her a smile, she smiled back, "And what about you, sir?" she asked Liam. "I'll have a Coke, thank you" he responded. After the server brought out drinks, she asked for our order. I ordered a bowl of spicy chicken ramen and Liam ordered a bowl of pork pho.
In the middle of the slurping, Liam popped up with a question. "So, I was wondering...is it cool if I sleepover at your house?". I stopped eating my noodles and looked up. A hot boy in my house, while wearing pajamas? Sign me up. "Sure, we can just head over there after we finish our food!” I answered, imagining what kind of pajamas Liam would wear.
After we left the noodle shop, our stomachs full and happy. We started walking to my apartment.
