Polarice was sitting inside of a floating white chair.
The inside didn’t have anything on the walls, floor, or ceiling. It was all smooth white metal with a large control console at the front. Polarice could see through the front of the ship as if the wall was nonexistent.
Polarice flew through space, looking for somewhere to go.
Somewhere to rest.
He spotted a small planet far away, rotating slowly as it sat far away from a bright blue star.
Polarice only had to think, and the ship made its way towards the small sphere.
As the ship flew closer, a screen suddenly popped up, making Polarice jump slightly.
It was scanning the world.
Suddenly, a wall of information covered most of the screen.
Xonviri. Dwarf planet orbiting Star Cikrax. Xonvirians are the inventors of currency exchange, allowing people from all across the Universe to trade money for goods and services, regardless of their currency.
Polarice sighed, seeming to not care about all of the information that was on the screen.
“Can we hurry this up?” Polarice asked.
The ship seemed to move faster, making Polarice look confused.
“Alright…let’s go in for a nice and soft landing…” Polarice whispered to himself.

On the surface of the planet, the ground was entirely covered in blue and green rock. There were weeds growing in between cracks, but that was the only vegetation.
There was a large city sitting on top of the rocky ground. All of the buildings were made of metal, but the bottoms of the buildings were all built into the ground. The buildings had metal roots as if they were trees. The people walking through the unorganized rocky streets had massive heads in the shape of spiked helmets. Their bodies seemed rigid and stiff like they were wearing armor, but it was their flesh. The heads had spikes pointing back and large top halves of their heads to resembled large goggles and Roman military helmets. Their eyes were sitting slightly inside of large chambers, able to slide in and out if needed. Their mouths appeared to be wide and cover most of their face, but whenever they spoke it was only the center that opened and moved. The clothing they wore resembled full body jumpsuits. They were all skin tight and appeared to be made out of spandex, but different people had different colors covered in different symbols.
The Xonvirians wearing red had black lines creating intricate designs with a black cube being formed from separate cubes sitting on the left half of their chest, along with a much larger one that covered the back and one more at the end of each sleeve.
They walked tall and proud, everyone else moving out of the way to avoid them. It was as if they were the most powerful, that even looking at them the wrong way could lead to death or suffering.
The Xonvirians wearing blue were covered in yellow lines creating designs that were much less intricate than the ones in red. On their suits were triangles that were made entirely of circles, also known as a Reuleaux Triangle.
They seemed to be the step below the ones in red. They would walk proud amongst the others, yet they hid from the reds. They were proud and egotistical cowards, hiding from anybody higher and mightier than them.
The Xonvirians wearing black had white lines creating very basic patterns. Their symbol was a shield containing two swords crossing into an X shape. They all carried large elliptical shields made of the rock from the ground beneath their feet. They held swords with rock hilts and dark steel blades. They wore helmets over their large heads, covering everything but the parts of their mouths that opened and their long, tube shaped eyes that sat inside dry and dark chambers.
The Xonvirians wearing green suits had purple lines creating designs of different scientific things, such as molecules, atoms, and DNA sequences. The symbols on their suits were shaped like lightning bolts made out of connected atoms.
They were all carrying large black pads that were covered in scientific and mathematical equations. Hearing them speak their tongue, they were the most well spoken and slowest speakers, as if taking time to think as they spoke and making sure that their peers could understand.
The final Xonvirians were dressed in brown suits that were all torn and tattered, revealing more of their bodies underneath that were rough and hard.
They sat on the streets, curled up to keep themselves warm. Every other group walked past them, even stepping onto them if they were in the way. They were silent and let everything happen to them. It was unclear if it was by choice, or if they could communicate at all.
As the differing groups made their way through their day, they all stopped and stared at the sky. The sky was a muted gray with no clouds, sort of making the surrounding Universe around them seem murky and unclear like they were staring through dirty glass.
A white coffee bean shaped ship was careening through the sky, a long tail of fire and light shooting out behind it as it entered the thick atmosphere. The ship itself became engulfed in the air bursting into flames and surrounding it, yet the ship seemed unscratched.
All of the people stared at the shooting star as it came crashing down hard into the side of a mountain, sending rock flying into the air. The gravity was low, so the rocks all flung into the air and floated for a few seconds before they began to very slowly make their way downward.
The sound of a space ship violently crashing into a mountain sounded more like a shockwave. There wasn’t any boom or thud or scream. It was just an invisible wave of force that washed over everything, but didn’t even shake any of the buildings or push any of the Xonvirians back.
The Xonvirians looked around, but made sure to only look at people wearing the same colors as themselves.
The soldiers, wearing the black uniforms, began to march in formation through the streets towards the mountain. The ones in red quickly made their ways into their homes, which were all the biggest buildings in the city. The ones in blue and green went into their homes, which were much smaller but still decently sized for them.
The ones in brown were left on the streets, homeless and starving as they looked up at the tall mountain that was visible from the city. An overlooking and almost ominous tower of rock staring down at the city.
Polarice was coughing as he slowly emerged from the crashed ship. He was visibly limping and clutching his thigh while holding both of his weapons in his other hand. He slowly fell to the ground and sat, looking out onto the small planet while breathing heavily.
“Well…this should be fun.” He said as he could spot an army marching up the steep mountain towards him and the ship.
Polarice slowly stood up, standing on only one leg as he held a blade in each hand, ready to fight.
The formation of soldiers stopped, lifting their shields up to form a wall that they all stood behind, their swords gripped tightly in their hands.
“State your name and your business.” One of the soldiers shouted.
Polarice looked confused.
“I don’t speak your language. I mean…” Polarice shrugged.
“I just crash landed on your planet and you expect me to know your language?” Polarice asked.
The soldiers didn’t understand him, but they shared looks amongst each other.
“I do not know this world. I do not know your people. But I will come peacefully as long as you treat me the same way.” Polarice said, lifting up his blades before slowly lowering them to the ground, making sure the soldiers are watching him.
“I come in peace, but that can change very quickly.” Polarice said as he lowered his weapons to the ground, letting go and letting them rest.
The soldiers all looked at each other more, then broke the wall of shields as one stepped forward, bowing ever so slightly to Polarice.
Polarice shrugged once more as he stepped forward.
One of the soldiers looked up at Polarice and spotted something unusual.
“His eyes!” The soldier shouted.
Polarice froze as all of the soldiers suddenly became aggressive once again.
Polarice lifted his hands up slowly and looked confused, but then the soldiers all rushed forward towards him.
Polarice quickly jumped back, floating rather quickly due to the low gravity. He grabbed both of his blades and jumped as the formation of soldiers all jumped as well.
Polarice slashed his sword, easily slashing through the shield and through the soldier’s body as if they were made of butter. Brown blood flew and floated in the air as the body was sliced into two pieces and fell to the rocky ground slowly.
Polarice kicked his legs to backflip and doge a sword strike before his feet kicked into one solider, then pressed off to quickly fly into the soldier who tried to kill him and stab them violently in the back, piercing through their armor and body with ease. Polarice and the soldiers were all able to float and reposition themselves, the soldiers even using each other to redirect in midair.
Polarice spun around with his blades easily slicing through whatever was in the way. The swords and other blades were turned into pieces of broken and ruined metal while the bodies were cut into however many pieces Polarice felt like creating. Polarice floated in the middle of body parts, brown blood, and broken pieces of metal as he was very slowly moving towards the ground.
Polarice’s feet touched the rock first, followed by everything else slowly and quietly crashing down as dust flew into the air and also floated very slowly and aimlessly.
Polarice looked around him, looking at the corpses sliced into pieces covered in dark brown blood.
He looked over towards the city in the distance.
He stared at the tall metal buildings, and was able to see tiny specks of people moving around.
Polarice didn’t say anything, he just stared at it in silence.
Blood running down his body and blades.
