My sisters and I share a bedroom so like, the three of us are smudged into one room with three beds and the room isn't even that big. My bed is in the corner of the room, beside the window on my right and my two sisters' bed on my left. As I was laying on my bed, the light was already off and it was dark. My sister wasn't sleeping while I was half awake. She was turning and turning a lot. And then she suddenly stopped.
She was being really noisy so I was glad I could sleep in peace until she called my name. "Raven," she said, turning to me, "th-there's something on the window..."
I was like, holy shit she's high. I got really scared and sobered up then turned to the window. I thought something was OUTSIDE looking at me but she said, "There, at the very top on the corner."
Flashback to when I was a child:
Me and my biological sister lived with our grandparents and aunts and uncles who have not moved out when our mom was working overseas. We had an uncle-uncle Jojo- who was strong and stern. Although he was small (lol) he was very hmm how do I say it? Very... hmmmmmmmm man... ly? Yeah, ok. He was a firefighter. He made me climb a fucking building (the one they used to train on) when I was like, EIGHT, and got mad at me for CRYING. Well, I don't hate him for it but anyway. And then we had an aunt, too. We were all close and they are silly sometimes but they are all very, VERY strong-willed. It's in our blood. Mostly my grandfather's blood. It's cool, actually. My grandpa's side had a clan called the "Dogwe Clan." They were all very strong-willed. They always had something to fight for. But my grandfather was very humble.
But going back to the topic, yes, our extended family- My three aunts, two uncles, grandfather and grandmother- were very much very strong indeed... with one but small weakness... Cockroaches.
It was so funny when there was a cockroach in out car on the left side and my firefighter uncle started shouting and we all went to the right side of the car.
Growing up with them, of course we developed the same fear of cockroaches.
-end of flashback-
So yeah. I looked over to where my sister was pointing and there was but a small shadow looking down on me, perched up on the top of the window with it's little round head and big, brown body. It's little legs sticking out, crawling creepily with it's disgusting antennas waving about. "COCKROACH!!!" my sister shouted. I literally jumped out of my bed and repeated what she said, "Cockroach!"
"Turn on the light! Hurry, hurry!"
Our other sister was already sleeping so I didn't want to disturb her. I went to take a lamp but it didn't have a battery. so I told myself "Fuck it" and turned the lights on. There was a big ass cockroach there. Like so fucking big. It was just above my head! What if it fell on my face?!?! I took some toilet paper in my hand, sprayed on some chemicals and stood on my bed to reach the same level as the roach. I placed my hand holding the tissue in front of it to get ready to catch it. I counted one to three then slammed the tissue there. It was supposed to be wrapped in tissue, smooshed, then thrown away. But it fell! My hand slipped and it fell behind my FUCKING PILLOW. It crawled to the space between my bed and the wall so I hurriedly removed the pillow and my bed to shoo it away. My sister and I were literally screaming.
I looked under my bed and it wasn't there. Then my sister pointed on the pillow that I threw on my bed. It. Was. There. "Putangnaaaaaa (curse word)" and then I threw my pillow on the floor. The roach then scurried under my sister's bed. She was laying on her bed and then she stood up, screeching.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck! Step on it! Shit!" but anyhow, it got away and I didn't get good sleep that night.
End of story.
