Dracula heard something scratching at his coffin and gave a heavy sigh. Being in a coffin was the closest he got to going to sleep, the darkness enveloped his thoughts and isolated him from the world but every year that Grim Reaper just had to go scratching that unearthly scythe against the ebony case--after saving up, Dracula could afford to move up in the world--in the worse wake-up call since a bunch of kids found his mansion and covered it in "toilet paper", he frankly didn't care, it was outright vandalism!
But back to now. He knew he'd find a cheeky grin and long brown locks and piercing should he open the lid, but he did anyways...he had to admit, he kind of liked having his thoughts interrupted, even if by the fun-loving scythe wielder.
"What do you want?" Dracula inquired tiredly.
"Oh, come now, surely you can count time by now, right? You've been around a while, you old fossil, you know what day it is!" Hadres laughed, pulling her hood down, "It's Halloween, Drake, and not even you would want to miss out this year!"
"Who are you calling a fossil?" Dracula snorted.
"I know, I meant that endearingly, I call all my friends fossils!" Hadres revealed.
Dracula fell silent at the new information. Did she really consider them friends? Now he wanted to hang out with her more.
"That silence means you disagree?" Hadres asked sadly.
"N-no, not at all!" Dracula declared, his heart leaping for some reason, "Hearts don't leap."313Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡKHOg2IjSWp
"Good, because I like you!" Dracula fell down with a thud and the Grim Reaper sighed, "Sheesh, man, come on! Talk about killing with love."313Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡWXgpXe57IM
