It was easy for me to understand the first part. The clothes she is wearing and the decorations on her purse and shoes shows off plenty of money, but not too much. It means she is well off. I don't think Reed realizes what the problem is here. It's still early for me to be certain, but I'm already able to sense more than enough about this guy that doesn't sit right with me. One issue was his behavior to Reed's presence; there wasn't a reaction at all, even though the twos' eyes clearly met.
