Imperfect Hues is centered around a young Japanese–Chinese American girl called Chihiro Cai, and her navigation of daily life and struggles ever since her big move to  NYC America from Japan 6 years ago.

 Her life shy, introverted and isolated life under goes a dramatic shift when Chihiro bumps into Carmen— Westwood's Troubled Golden Boy, who happens to be apart of a very dangerous clique called the royals.

Despite running away on the first encounter everything seems to start colliding her way against her will afterwards especially after running into Jihan her former childhood best friend who has unsavory connections to Carmen and the royals. 

Followed by: old betrayals, forgotten friendships, royal drama, social politics, rare found family— on top of her on going conflict with her family and herself. Chihiro aka Chiyo will have to navigate life with a new target on her back while keeping herself upright, growing and becoming a better person, but can she?
