The eyes of the person's that I was looking into looked just as wide as mine. She looked terrified and I could see the water stains on her face from the crying that I walked in to witness. Her mouth started to drop slowly and she let her eyes soften. I saw water puddles form at the bottom of her eyes and when she blinked they rolled down her cheeks, following the stains that were made before.

What is going on?
I shook my head with out intentions of doing so and started to back away, "No, n-no." I started panicking and my breaths became quicker. I could feel the rush of my heartbeats pounding in my chest.
The person stood up and put her hand out in front of her as if she was trying to tell me to stop. She waved her hand a bit to grab my attention.
I couldn't stay here any longer. I turned my back towards the direction of the door and continued to back up. 439Please respect copyright.PENANA1MtalMLbEa
She stomped her foot and started signing at me frantically.
This can't be me. If it was why wouldn't I be talking? Her signs were too quick for me to pick up. I started to pick up my pase and reached the door frame. I must not have positioned my back properly enough because I ran into the frame itself. The girl started stepping closer to me and waved her hand again to get my attention. Her green eyes were wide and there was tears running down her cheeks. Her bottom lip was pressed up against her upper lip and her chin was quivering. She started signing again.
I was pressed against the door frame so hard that my back was starting to ache. I could feel the sides of the wooden frame getting caught on my shirt. I pulled my back forward and her the light clicking noises of the wood unhooking itself from the back of my shirt.
She stomped her foot multiple times to pull me out of my frightened trance.
I could hear my shaky breaths escaping from my lungs, but I felt like I needed to see what this person was trying to tell me. This person who looks just like me. This person who can't speak for herself.
She wiped the tears from her eyes as if she noticed that I was willing to listen. She took a few stuttered breaths and raised her hand to sign something to me. I stared at her hand, but my concentration was interupted but a banging noise that came from down the hall. My heart started to beat faster and I looked at my double with concerned eyes. She was staring at the door from over my shoulder then quickly looked me in the eyes. Her hands started flailing in front of my face. She snapped her fingers in my face and I made eye contact with her than my eyes trailed off to her hands.
The banging started to get louder and sound closer.
I watched her sign the same thing multiple times until I could make out what she was signing.
"Don't leave me alone."
Her eyes weren't just filled with tears anymore they looked blood shot.
The banging continued to grow louder and I panicked. I turned around and walked out the door. When I turned around the corner to leave the house I saw a dark figure at the end of the hallway. The figure backed itself into the living room, which was where the door to get to Kolt's car was. I swallowed hard enough to make my throat sore and tip-toed to the living room. Before I made it out of the hallway and looked back at the good in the well lit room was. I saw her staring out of the room at me. I mouthed the words, "I'm sorry" to her.
And just before I walked to rest of the way into the living room that girl looked just like my sister Annaya again.
I poked my head around the corner to peek into the living room and I saw my dad sitting on the couch. He tapped his Unit 6 beer bottle on the side table. The noise of his tapping sounded the same as the banging that I heard from the other room. It must have sounded louder in the back room due to how hysterical I am feeling. I took a deep breath then held it in my throat and walked through the living room to the door as casually as I could.
My father dropped the bottle that he had in his hand and it rolled across the floor into a pile of more bottles. The clanking noises of the bottles rang through out the house and bounced off the walls. With ech bounce it got louder. The sobbing from the back room started back up again.
I can't stay here.
I reached out and grabbed onto the door knob when my dads voice froze me mid-action.
"You're leaving just like your mother." His voice sounded low and hoarse. I could hear his hair rubbing against the collar of his coat. Without looking over at him I could tell he was looking straight at me.
I opened the door and stepped out on the porch. Before I shut the door I said to him, "No, I'm not." I tried to sound as confident as I could with everything that was happening.
I heard rustling instantly after I finished my sentence. Without any warning I heard a crashing noise against the other side of the door and the sound of glass diving onto the floor. I slammed the door shut and ran out to the drive way.
Where's Kolt,s car?
I heard the sound of sobbing in the distance, but I was too afraid to look back at the house.
I ran down the drive way and down the street until I couldn't breath anymore. I hunched over and placed my hands on my knees, panting. I closed my eyes until my breathing because more natural. I was far enough away from my old house to feel safe again. I let out one deep sigh and stood up in the same action. 439Please respect copyright.PENANAlLc3sFKlKc
I opened my eyes and let out a shrill scream when I saw that someone was standing in front of my face.
It was Kolt.
"Kolt? Where's the truck?"
Kolt leaned forward and put his face inches away from mine. He whispered, "She told you not to leave her alone."
"How do you know that?"
"She said not to leave her alone." He said again emotionlessly.
"Kolt, you weren't there; you don't understand."
The trees behind him started spinning and the air began to thicken.
I can't breath.
The world turned darker until there was nothing left to see.
I heard the thud of my body hitting the street.
When I opened my eyes I was in my bed at the apartment. I layed there with my eyes open and stared up at the ceiling. I stared until my eyes felt like they were drying out. Even then I continued to stare. I started to count the popcorn pieces on the ceiling paint job. I couldn't keep them open any longer. I blinked a few times until my vision adjusted to the darkness of my room. There was a light flashing from the corner of my eye. I turned to my side and noticed that my phone had a few missed calls and an unread text message.
Kolt Bashton missed call (3)
1 New Voicemail
I slid my phone to listen to the voice mail.
Hey babe. I was hoping to catch you before you went to sleep. I don't want to fight. If you say Micheal isn't a threat than I trust you. I didn't mean to make you upset. I was being oversensitive.
I'll come over tomorrow to help you move stuff out of the computer room for Annaya and after I'll take you out to dinner.
I love you.
I smiled against the side of my phone for a moment or two then I pulled the phone away from my ear. I noticed that I had a text message, so I opened that. There's no way I'm going back to sleep for a while.

Can you come into the living room. I don't want to be left alone...
My heart sunk to the bottom of my stomach after I read the text and my smile faded. I could feel the heat from my face turn cold. I threw the blankets off of myself and I slide my feet into my slippers on the side of the bed. I started to walk out of my bedroom then I turned around and grabbed one of my hoodies from the closet.
The living room is always colder than my room is.
I opened my door slowly and quietly then shut it just as cautiously. I walked down the short hallway and looked over the back of the couch to see Annaya sleeping. She had a slight frown on her face and her chest was rising slowly.
She seems okay.
I walked back to my room and grabbed one of my extra blankets from the back of my closet. I folded it up so it was easier to carry and walked back over to where Annaya was sleeping. I fanned out the blanket over the couch then slide it down over her feet. I took a little time to make sure most of her was covered.
While I was looking at my sister I couldn't help but think of that girls sobs from my dream.
