While everyone was smiling, Nozomu scratched his head. “That will be so tiring… carrying all these bodies? They are not heavy. I guess I can carry two at a time, but they are so many!”

Tresuria timidly raised her hand and said, “This one can make the waggons… And… what about if Chuji made the floor slippery, and we threw the Goblins on the floor at each other? We could make a line on the intersections we crossed to get here and slide the Goblins out…”

Chuji vigorously nodded. “I can do that easily! Way to go, Tresuria! We can use that with the scales and the claws as well! Let’s carry a few Goblins and each of us stops in an intersection while the others continue to the outside. I will make the floor slippery as I come back in.”

They all grabbed one dead Goblin and a few scales and went towards the exit.
Nozomu stopped at the first intersection, and the others continued.
Hinen stopped at another intersection, then Robert, and finally Taisetsuna.
In front of the entrance, Chujitsuna Hito made a few sets of thin wheels made of rock with a hole in the centre, and Tresuria focused her Magic around her.
In seconds, vines grew from the floor, wrapped around the wheels, and the vines thickened in the holes of the wheels, making the rotative axis. In less than five minutes, a waggon was ready, with two poles on one end to tie to a horse, Unicorns, or deer.
While Tresuria took care of the waggons, Chujitsuna returned to the cave, using her Magic to make the floor behind her become as slippery as she could.
She left a normal floor near her companions so that they wouldn’t fall, and continued to the clearing inside, making a slippery path straight ahead.
She grabbed one Goblin and slid it over the path to test it.

Nozomu barely had time to make him turn and pushed him to the tunnel that led to the exit, when he shouted, “Not so strong! I could barely stop it before it hit me!”

“Oops! Sorry! Here goes a few! Try to be faster, or we will be here until nightfall!”

Nozomu did his best to make the continuous flow of Goblins, scales, and claws continue along the slippery path, and Hinen, Robert, and Taisetsuna did the same.
Outside, Tresuria was making more waggons, and Draiky was running back and forth, throwing Goblins at one finished waggon and Drakes’ scales and claws at another.
When Tresuria finished her sixth waggon, she helped the running pet plant with his work.
In the clearing, Chujitsuna threw her last Goblin, and she then slithered to the exit, making the ground return to normal. She joined Nozomu, and they continued along the tunnel to get to the others.
When they all exited the cave, they helped Tresuria and Draiky fill the waggons, and while Draiky went to the tree to get the Goblin they captured, Chujitsuna closed the entrance of the cave, and she even made a few more rocks appear to block the entrance completely.

Taisetsuna wondered why she did that, and she explained, “I want to come back tomorrow to get the rest of the scales of the Drakes, and I don’t want anyone to find this entrance and rob us.”

“That’s a good idea, actually. Let’s go get our rides to return to the Academy. It’s almost the end of the afternoon, and we still have a long ride back. We will need to go slower because of the waggons, but maybe we can arrive one hour from now.”

While Tresuria was making vines to serve as ropes to tie the waggons to their rides, Nozomu and the others joined her with the horses, Unicorns, and her deer with the tied Goblin over the deer’s back.
Rampage frowned at the waggons full of dead Goblins, and he wondered what those poles with ropes would be used for.

Until he saw Robert and Hinen tying those ropes to the horses’ saddles. He neighed and frowned at Nozomu, who asked him, “What? Do you have another idea for us to pull that waggon? Stop complaining and be still. I need to tie the poles to the rope, or we won’t be able to pull the waggon. Leave your anger for later, because we still have two Dragons to fight.”

Hearing about Dragons, both Rampage and Furnace stopped fighting to get rid of the waggons, and they both stared at Nozomu. He shrugged and explained, “There are two Dragons that will for sure come to the Academy, and I want to fight them. Considering they are known for fighting and killing any Unicorn they see, I thought you would like to get revenge. We don’t need to kill them, just defeat them and make them obey us. Or to be our friends, like you and Furnace. If you don’t want to fight them because you are afraid, I don’t mind. I can fight them with Taisetsuna. I just thought you would like that idea.”

Rampage vigorously nodded, and he neighed, with Furnace imitating him. They both seemed excited about the possibility of fighting Dragons, Magical Beings that they always avoided facing because there were far too many Unicorns that died from fighting those dangerous beings. With that crazy group of young Humans, the chances were in their favour.

Nozomu smiled and tied the rope to the waggon while tapping Rampage’s left side. “I knew you would like that idea.”

When they tied the last waggon to Hinen’s horse, Chujitsuna Hito grabbed the rope of the waggon that was for her to pull and smiled. “Look at me! I am a pretty horse! Heheheh! Let’s go! I want to see their faces when we arrive with our bounty!”
39Please respect copyright.PENANARBzk123ZYK
They all mounted, and went towards the Academy, at the maximum speed they could without the waggons tripping over.
Chujitsuna and Tresuria were at the back, checking the movements of the waggons ahead to warn the group to slow down in case the waggons were dangerously close to falling over.

Tresuria asked, without looking at the smiling Snake-kind girl, “Are you also going to fight the Dragons like Taisetsuna and Nozomu?”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAQkJYIDC0Gd
“Yes, it will be fun for sure! Why? You don’t want to?”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAnfMBNv9IZV
“Not really… Dragons are scary. Gailies are not good with fire. Imagine if one of those Dragons is a Fire Dragon? He could kill this one easily, without even sweating! Just one breath, and puff, there ends the life of a Gailie!”
39Please respect copyright.PENANACMKGuZbW3J
“Don’t worry, I will protect you! I can make a big Rock Wall in front of us, and you can shoot your sleep mist at them! Or wrap a few vines to keep their mouths closed. The problem will be if they fly; that will be a bummer!”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAzcSavsQGtS
Tresuria nodded and nervously answered, “This… this one can also make Rock Walls… and open a big hole underneath them, and then close it, to trap their legs. But if they fly… Maybe we can throw a few rocks at their wings to make them land?”
39Please respect copyright.PENANA8pWkiLNUx7
“If I hit them in a soft spot with a poisoned arrow, maybe I can kill them, but Nozomu and Taisetsuna want to defeat them only, so I suppose killing them is out of the equation. Let’s ask them when we arrive and then decide. By the way, do you think the Academy will let me keep that Goblin you have there? Maybe I can train him to be my pet! That would be awesome, right? Just imagine me walking around with that Goblin on a leash, and making him obey me! That would be funny!”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAp4Aetc2XOf
“Dangerous would be a better word! What would you do to be sure he didn’t escape in the night and slice your throat?”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAGwpVNga16O
“I am not sure. Should I keep him in a cage, for instance? That should work, right?”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAQyUfApAXoR
Tresuria slowly shook her head with a slight smile, thinking to herself that this girl was completely nuts, but she sure was funny. She glanced to her side and saw Chujitsuna waving at her while her other hand was still grabbing the pole of the waggon behind her.
She tapped Draiky’s head and looked forward again, concentrating on the movement of the waggons and shooting her Magic ahead, to make the soil less bumpy.
One hour later, they arrived at the Academy. The Principal and the Teachers were already in front of the main doors, looking at the Parties that were in the empty space below the four stairs.
The noise of Taisetsuna’s group arriving made everyone look at them, and their jaws dropped when Taisetsuna stopped near the stairs, with the waggons full of dead bodies.
Tresuria jumped from the back of her deer and put the angry Goblin on the ground, still wrapped in the vines.

Chujitsuna Hito made him sit on the floor and smiled at the dumbfounded Principal. “We weren’t sure if we needed to kill Monsters or bring one alive, so we did both. We also killed the two Drakes these guys were feeding, and we have a waggon with scales and claws to sell. So, do we get the point or not? By the way, I want this guy to train. He will be my faithful pet.”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAaWkLMqb6WU
The Principal walked down the stairs, almost tripping on his feet. He looked at the waggons and stuttered, “H-how… d-did you kill all those Goblins? And where were they hiding?”
39Please respect copyright.PENANA6xKED6SzZT
Taisetsuna jumped from Furnace and explained, “The Goblin that is near Chuji was on top of a tree, working as a lookout. He was probably the one that closed the entrance to their cave and warned the others to hide, making it impossible for his horde to be found every time someone approached. Unfortunately for him, our mean and always angry white Unicorn knocked him out before he had time to do anything. In the tunnels, we also killed a bunch of baby Goblins, and we found the two Drakes in a big open cave, with no ceiling and a plateau in the middle. The Goblins were feeding the Drakes, that were seated at the top of that plateau. Chuji used on her arrows the Poison she made on the previous try-out and poisoned the meat the Drakes ate, and they died. We then run to the top of the plateau and killed every Goblin we saw.”

“But… Why your Party didn’t return after capturing that Goblin? You didn’t need to risk your lives by entering that cave to fight the Goblins and the Drakes!”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAZ56Jm7TMjM
“Because we wanted to show to the morons on the other Parties that is not a good idea to mess with us, that’s why. Besides, we also wanted to earn money from the scales and claws of the Drakes. Our original intention was to kill the Goblins so that they didn’t attack the Academy or the Capital, one of these nights. The Drakes were just a bonus.”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAMPyxMUmEfB
The Principal slowly shook his head. “A bonus, she says… Two extremely dangerous Drakes, able to kill half an army, dead by Poison… unbelievable…. Where… Where did you leave the Drakes?”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAqMY1ella0n
“Hidden where we killed them, of course. There are still a few dead baby Goblins but those can rot in those tunnels, for what I care. We want to return there tomorrow to get the rest of the scales to sell and make sure there are no more Goblins left alive. We hid the entrance, of course, so that no one went there to steal us.”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAHrqCR6Jjzo
“I see… I guess… your Party did the right thing by killing the Goblins and the Drakes, but I would prefer if you had come back to ask for reinforcements.”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAxSLDXNeFLa
Taisetsuna shrugged. “That would ruin our purpose of inputting fear into the other Parties, wouldn’t it? Besides, the last time I went into a cave full of Goblins, it was just me and Nozo. Today we had more people with us. The Drakes could be hard to kill, but Chuji poisoned them easily, so we didn’t have to fight them.”
39Please respect copyright.PENANAsk4rMZrpge
The Principal slowly nodded, still shaken by what he was seeing on the waggons. The way Taisetsuna spoke almost made him believe that what they did was a simple task when he knew they did almost the impossible. Kill two Drakes, kill all those Goblins, make waggons with rock wheels made of vines. He noticed that the other applicants were now frowning at Taisetsuna and her group, and they didn’t look happy.
39Please respect copyright.PENANA67ugPz2arS
He clapped his hands to silence the whispering and talking, and said, “There was a Party with seven members because we didn’t have enough applicants to make Parties of six members, and even with that extra member, they failed because they went to the forest and caught nothing. In fact, they almost died from the attack of a swarm of ‘Ergy’. So, eighteen passed, and seven failed. For the others that are looking so angry at Taisetsuna and her Party, I want to point out the fact that they also made those waggons, showing expertise with Magic and improvisation, skills that we also teach here. They were also excellent strategists because their craziness showed everyone here that they are a powerful Party that no one should underestimate. With this, I welcome you all to the Academy of Adventurers of the ‘Principality of Khiz’!”
