ย Ramerai Marina shifted her legs, one crossing over the other- as she stood, waiting for the bus. Her shiny, black shoes seemed duller in the light sprinkle as she held a gold umbrella against her chest, her arms crushing her sparkly broach that was the shape of the sun- herย shirt wrinkling. Glad that she was wearing white stockings that reached just below her knee, her knees shook lightly- she was wearing her long sleeved white uniform, but her navy blue skirt was short, making it chillier. Her book was somehow squished between her cane-shaped umbrella handle and her hand- it was her homework assignment for last night. But she was busy, as her gold-flecked blue eyes scanned the page, meaning she HAD not time to completely finish her work. The wind seemed to pick up- making Ramerai look up, only for it to be the yellow bus, the headlight glaring through the mist. She quickly secured her book under her arm and walked across the street, the ground clicking under her feet.
