It was gloomy weather that day and Selene just woke up before 6 am. She washed her face and changed her pajamas to her white loose shirt and running shorts. She made her way down the staircase of her dorm and looked up at the cloudy sky. "Hmm, it seems like it will rain today." She told herself. She began to run for about an hour and made her way to her favorite stall to eat and
ordered some breakfast. After she had her fill she ordered some for her two roommates because she knew she would be instantly killed once she mentioned she already had her breakfast but was not able to get theirs on the way.
On her way back to her dorm, on the west side of the university gate, she saw a guy with some luggage in tow. Selene was a bit curious as to who was the guy making his way into the male dorm early in the morning. And there is a sense of strangeness around him however she can't pinpoint it.
"A new student?" She asked herself.
When she looked again there was no sight of the guy around. After a short pause, she shrugged and made her way inside the girl's dormitory.
When she opened the door she was a bit surprised to see her two roommates already awake. "Oh, you're all awake, so early!"
A lady in her pink bunny jammies with curly shoulder-length hair and glasses on named Jennie; one of her roommates and best friend, looked at the thing in her hand and dashed towards Selene, then snatched the fragrant-smelling food as fast as she could. "Oh, beshie, you're really sweet. I love you!"
"Someday I'm gonna marry you, Lyn!!!" One of the girls named Rose said. She is a tall girl, with a slim physique her long and straight rose-colored hair reached to her waist and she looked like a super model in her satin purple jammies,
She just raised her eyebrow. "You're going to marry me only because I bought you food? Wow, You're easy to keep."
The two laughed while they devoured all the food Selene bought.
Selene made her way to her study table and opened her laptop. "Hey, where's Sara? She didn't come back last night?"
"Uhm." Rose hummed because she couldn't speak, her mouth was full.
Selene looked at her. "Hey, speak up."
"Sara was with her man, I think," Jennie answered.
"What? I thought they'd break up?"
The two just shrugged. The four of them have been roommates since the first year. And they easily get along like they have known each other for a long time. Well, except for Jennie, she has been Selene's best friend ever since they were 6 years old.
"Oh," Selene said. She doesn't have much to say when it comes to the girl's love life, she didn't have a boyfriend so, how could she have time to meddle with her friend’s affair? She was busy browsing her Facebook account. Every day, her friend request was going up, and every day she kept on deleting some of the requests that had malicious intentions toward her. The majority of them are men. Yes, it was really a headache!
Selene, is a delicate and elegant beauty. She has an innocent-looking face, big watery eyes, and a pink mouth. She has a sweet and gentle voice. She has shoulder-length black silky hair and white skin. Just like where her name was derived from, the goddess of the moon. Very serene. She was even given the title of number one campus beauty. But there's always a mystery why despite her heavenly beauty she doesn't have a boyfriend.
"Hey, guys, are there any transferees this semester?" She asked.
Jennie was still chewing her food. "Well, it was already halfway through the semester, who would even transfer during this period?"
"Exactly. But I just saw a guy with his luggage going to the male dorm."
Jennie and Rose looked at each other then giggled... "Impossible. When did you start noticing our male schoolmates?" Rose teased her.
Selene pursed her cherry lips. "Stop teasing me. Though I don't usually talk with the majority of them, I know that that guy I'm talking about was a transferee."
Jennie nodded her curly head. "Rose, believe her. She has the list."
Rose came to a realization. "You're right."
Selene picked up a pillow and threw it in their direction. Their room was filled with laughter even on that gloomy morning.
