Vinyl record playing in background

The pen to paper never stops

The inspiration of one whole person

In a generation so uninspired

Surrounded by many an admirer

Living life on the side of the finer

An aura of impression so grand

An aura of depression out of hand

Break out of the drywall

To project an idea many so ready to reject

To make for an anthem of melancholy

To insight light and love in those left behind

In those who look forward with hindsight

Those who are still up at midnight
