Welcome to the 'First Whenever Dream World Contest'. In this contest you will be designing your own magical world and writing a short story about it. The goal of this contest is to hopefully help you improve your worldbuilding skills a bit, and help you come up with unique ideas for your own stories.

Contest Theme: Comfort

The dream world you create should make the characters feel relaxed and comfortable, or at the very least, calm.

Genres:Any Genre

As long as the dream world matches with it and it doesn't break the rules, write whatever genre you want.

Story Needs To Include:

1. Some other living creature that isn't human

2. At least 2 different characters

3. At least 5 different locations within the world

4. A brief backstory for either the characters or the world

5. Some sort of structure or building

This contest will go on for 3 weeks. If you are having trouble coming up with ideas, you are likely overthinking it. It could be a world made entirely of plastic, a magical forest or garden, or even a world with floating heads in the sky. It's just about having fun and being creative.

Idc what u write as long as it not inappropriate

With one chapter create a new world. Just like Alice in Wonderland place a character in a world where you understand the rules but they don't. I would like a show don't tell approach. Thanks!

Dear writers.

here you can write whatever your heart, brain, and hands want. At the end (4 weeks), I will judge who wins and the different places. However, I will leave comments on all entries and I will actuallyread them. Whether you are an experienced writer or new, I believe everyone has potential.

Rules:

Swearing is allowed - not too much, you don't want that language to take over your writing

If something is 18+, please make a warning in the beginning of your entry - 18+ is NOT required (I get it, not everyone is comfy with reading these)

Triggers! - If there are any possible triggers in your entry, make sure to address them in the beginning so that your readers know what to be ready for

Author notes - These aren't required, however, I love reading what the author thinks about they wrote and what it means to them

Ok so the first contest of this was first named 'favorite show gone different' but then the name was 'Showrama'

Write me a story of you in your favorite show (or movie) and name the title your show you chose. So if you chose Stanger Things (MY FAVORITE SHOW) the title would be Stranger Things.
