A collection of poems originally written by me. I dug through everything, but could not find any more poems. I will most likely not update any longer unless I find another poem or I gain sudden inspiration. I'm proud of my work on these poems, I really am.
A few of my favorites:
-A True Friend
-The New Promise
-Don't Look Into Her Eyes
Violet Renly is an ordinary girl who just happens to have six siblings. She and her sisters are so fed up with being called 'The Weasleys' that their mothers decide to transfer them to a new school. The small school, located in rural Southern Virginia, seems to contain anything but adventure. Violet soon learns, however, that adventure can be found in the least likely places. For example: Azaelea Williams.
A simple collection of song quotes (not full songs) that I am personally fond of. Some are beautiful, some are tragic, well, that's at least what I think. Currently looking for song suggestions, so feel free to comment yours! (:
A collection of various short writings, some focused on imagery and careful word choice, some confessional-style, some metaphorical, etc. Just sort of glimpses into different moments and emotions I felt at the time of writing.
Milo had perpetually lived her life in a state of wait- what would be the next task, the next adventure, the next exciting thing to waft through her nose and light up her eyes. But what she was really waiting for was viridescence: the adventure promised to each new Valvidian as children, their first opportunity to leave the village and truly become one with nature. And in just a few days, finally, it would be her turn.
In a whole different world, a nation is on the brink of war. The Dark Forest has killed a healer, a forbidden thing to do in all lands. The healer, mother of Elle and Natalie Hartman, was shot with an arrow through her back while she was on a mountainside gathering herbs. The Elementals are pressing that they start battle...A war is coming, And Elle and Natalie are a part of it.
Star Forest-The place in the middle of the hamlets where meetings are held.
Star Wafer-Thin, papery wafers that grow on the trees in the Star Forest that taste like fireflies if you eat them.
Dark Forest-A huge, sprawling forest with no light where the Spirits live, led by their strange leader.
Flaming Bow Carriers-A special family who found out how to light an arrow on fire and shoot it.
Hamlet-A large village containing nearly 800 people. There are hundreds of hamlets.
The Great Meeting-A meeting held in a colossal cave when a war is about to start.
Elementals-Specials picked out by the older Elementals every 100 years. They have the powers of water, fire, air, earth, and telekinesis.
Magics-Great warriors who have trained in magic ever since they were eight years old.
Warriors-The majority of people are warriors. They train in weapons and horse riding, but the best ones know acrobatics as well.
Healers-You have to be born a healer. Every healer gets a spirit animal when they are eight, a cat cub, and they keep them for the rest of their life. They train in riding them, and every healer has a special connection with nature. Anyone who kills a healer must be put to death. Healers also can bend some also, but only liquids.
Now, time for the next part...daily life!
Sports:Soccer, Frisbee, Tag, Hide and Seek, and whittling.

If you don't mind, I'm just going to use this story space to keep drafts of upcoming/ideas for stories without actually having to create a story for them. This may or may not turn into a collection of short stories, lol.
One day, long ago, the world was still as it is now. If it wasn't already hard enough to survive, a plague broke out, killing people by the thousands. The only way to go was survival of the fittest. This is the story of Lilac, a 15 year old girl determined to find a cure for this epidemic. The only question is: Will she find it before she's too late?
Are you ready, kids? Right, so, I'm starting this and really anyone can join in (sort of a bit like a roleplay or a relay novel of sorts) because otherwise I would never get anything done. You may control as many characters as you'd like, but you must keep track of them. The plot of this one should be interesting, but I'm not sure exactly where I'm going with it right yet, so yeah that's where all of you guys come in. Thank ye in advance. ~Ellis
Alright kids, buckle up and lets get into this! Since I have more than 50 bookmarks dedicated to new characters, and I just don't have enough power to write any actual stories about them, I'm just going to set them up for you guys, and, uh, myself. Feel free to use them if you want, just be like 'Oh ya thanks to Ellis for inspiring this char' or something. Right, so, let's begin. There will be one character per chapter, except if the char has siblings.
There is a place, not very far from here, where the breeze softens and the tides draw near. The birds often sing, and many flowers bloom, but here, is where the wild roses bloom. They are said to have magic within them, magic that only helps the selfless. I've heard someone lives down there, with the hollowed out trees and the forest creatures. People tell me the person is more creature than human. I would like to live in the place where the wild roses bloom, and I plan on doing it.
