In this contest I want you to make up a character. They can be from anywhere. They can be anything. The one requirement is that you put something tragic into the characters life. Whether form your own life or completely made up. If you pull it from your own life I’m sorry that you had to go through it. But it probably made you stronger for it, even if you don’t believe so. And if you pull it from your imagination then I want you to ask yourself if you’re okay and listen to the answer and ask for help if you need it.

This is for the writer with immense imagination. This time, the contest will have prompts as guides for the writers for their stories.

Requirements to be eligible for the contest:

An interesting Fantasy Story with a minimum of  1,000 (1k) and no maximum limit.

Works entered must be WRITTEN BY YOU, and not in any way, plagiarised. Works must be new (written within the contest duration)

The main character can be any gender, sexuality, or race.

Also, note that good grammar will have high points. Even if the story fitted the requirements, there would only be a low chance of winning for the story if it has wrong punctuation, improper use of words, and most importantly, the separation of paragraphs. One paragraph must have a different subject that focuses on the other. It doesn't matter if the other one is shorter, and the other one is longer.

The contest will end after three weeks. After the contest duration, Anne with the particular judge will read the stories one by one and the winner will be announced a week after. The best book wins and will be given a chance to be continued for a whole novel, it will be given a well-deserved book cover and banner to use. Anne will also serve as an editor for this winner. The Placers for this contest will also be free to place their work on other platforms and will be guided there by Anne.

If you would like to join, write something inspired by this image. It can be based on the general energy around it, using the creatures and objects as key story elements, creating a character backstory, describing a world with the same color palette, or really anything. You could even write down a little story plan with ideas in bullet points. It doesn't have to be super sophisticated, this is just for fun. Likes determine the winner.

As for rules, make sure you are nice to everyone else participating, regardless of the kind of content they put out. I encourage you to read the other entries, but you aren't obligated. I wanted to make this contest because Trauma has spread deeply into our lives. I want you to write what ever you want. A story, A poem, Song Lyrics, It could be only a few sentences. Just write what ever you found or created that was healing to you. There will be no Prizes, Nor will there be a declared winner. That is not what this is all about. Help your fellow Writer/Reader deal with the things that they do not talk about.
