It was a rainy day for the peoples of Hemshore. Tiffany had left her home that morning around six for a early shift start and moreover to check on Isabel. The woman was still a mystery to her but the name she mentioned several times, was surely enough to make Isabel someone of great importance to her. The message still so unclear but she swore she could've heard her ask to protect someone.

She hadn't bothered waking her son and while making her way to Isabel's hospital room, contemplated whether she had left the keys to her jeep for him. Her head was a maze -she had two surgeries, ten appointments and a conference in Borrisville lined up -above that a bloody necklace someone had dig up from her past -which meant she had to squeeze time for a surprise visit to the Mayor.

Tiffany stood in front of the room, took a deep breath and entered. She smiled at the nurse by Isabel's side and enquired after her health.

"...facing the possibility of going into a coma due to trauma, she has severe brain injuries and a broken rib. The patient experience shock every other hour, Dr Shire figures that after the accident she was still conscious and the last words she may have spoken must have been very important, scans show pressure from the nerve system. Dr Shire says whatever those last words -is the very reason for her shock and was specific about not letting family around her at the time as a familiar voice might trigger the nerve system."

Tiffany nodded, "Speaking of...has anyone came by to see her?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAhcPNljril0
"No, poor thing, I wonder if anyone know she's here. Luckily we did find her ID, her name's Isabel Gonzalez."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAkCHblqsaGp
The name not once sounded familiar. Outside the room, Tiffany caught glimpse of a girl trying to prevent a man from entering the room. She ordered for the nurse to stay put and slid out of the room.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAVtY3C4atHh
"Is there a problem here?" The man stepped away from the girl, straightened his jacket as Tiffany caught a glimpse of the gun hooked on his belt. A flood of uncertain emotions rushing through her. Her mind recalling so many dreadful things at once.

"Hemshore Police Department, lead Det Powell." Tiffany sighed slightly, enough to conceal her agitation and took the eager hand that awaited her grip.
592Please respect copyright.PENANA1jWxgesFz3
"Detective, how may we help you?" She smiled.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAKjORNArEZN
"Doctor..." He took a minute to look at her name tag and admire her striking beauty.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAX1mod6DHhR
"Dr Graham," Never once failing to keep her composed façade, "let's go to my office, detective, I'm sure I can be of better service to you there -besides, you can't see the patient at the moment. I'm afraid her condition is critical."

Tiffany took Powell by his arm and guided him down the hall. He played with his wedding ring slightly, mesmerized by her beauty that he hadn't thought of his growing family at home. It was unlike him to be dazzled so quickly but his mind remained on the prize at hand -time alone in the company of the admirable doctor.

She turned back around, smiled at the girl in the hallway before disappearing around the corner.

The hallway was empty, the sound of beeping machine's seizing the silence, bringing that one horror to Farah every time she had an encounter with a hospital. She was just a child when her father died, a local mechanic around the neighborhood. Quite well known with the middle upper class peoples around the Valley. Happy years was something she could hardly recall, having not given any thought to any memories regarding him since that very moment.

It was a time of importance, desperate need and a deadly encounter around the clock. She stared at her phone as if to encourage Meloni to finally call her back. She paced on switching directions and contemplated whether to call either Kelli, Jessica or Rachel to inform them of the phone call she received the night before.

Footsteps became audible gaining Farah's attention as her head immediately shot in it's direction. A man in a dark suit was headed towards her -the designer complimenting his size. His shoe's shiny and his head covered in a Pachini designer faux fur beanie and leather cloves. The sight of him intimidating and bringing so many memories back.

It was as if she was fifteen again, trapped in the staircase with her now best friends. She remembered the thirst and hunger -Ashley Greeley's pale face and empty blue eyes -than suddenly Timothy Graham's vulgaris look when he revealed he knew everything.
592Please respect copyright.PENANATHgLYIPWi4
Surely he didn't! Could he? Does he really? Her mind raced with hovering questions.
592Please respect copyright.PENANA9r4qIOwlgD
She moved uncomfortable, for a minute considering entering the room across from her and rather face the wrath of a strict nurse than the horror they had to endure that seventy two hours in Canon Dale. The man came up, fear growing with each waiting second and continued to pass her by. A yellow envelope fell from his pocket -Farah instantaneously going cold.

Her breathing stopped; the small hairs in her neck penned up and the sound of her horrific childhood memory -silenced. Farah's mind found Poppy, the bloody room and how their friendship came to be. She had long forgotten the Delivery Man, whom did a disappearing act from Hemshore Hills Medical Clinic. She picked up the envelope and tugged it into her Te La Dolche designer handbag. She knew better than to open it right there, in the middle of a hall where everyone could see her.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAAbcQjXkDKx
Farah stood up completely discarding the reason for her waiting there -besides, with Meloni not showing made her suspect that something had happened to her. During her call, she sounded angst -and was convinced her aunt was going crazy.

She walked down the hall and soon found the back exit to the underground parking lot. Dipping in between cars, she found her father's old mustang parked in a corner where visitors deserted the parkings long ago. It was a far distance yet to go and the flickering light had died the minute she summoned enough courage to go the mile. Farah froze, her eyes scattering around -she was sure everything was orchestrated. There could only be one explanation -her days of freedom was no longer guaranteed.

Farah took a breath and soon after, her feet carried her swiftly pass vehicles, her heels the only audible thing consuming the silent air. She slowed her pace as the red mustang came in view -taking a moment to valuate her breath.

Before turning to her car, she looked around one last time, "Fare." Hands grasped hers.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAHTR9pD2wVK
She gasped, almost loosing her balance, "God Mel!" She whispered and diverted her attention to the trembling hands holding hers. "What's going on? Where have you been? Are you okay?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANARvJ9RlNGwC
Meloni placed her finger on her lip and Farah knew there was nothing hopeful about senior year after all. They climbed in the car, Meloni not once calming down.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAYDu3A53S1A
"Meloni, what is going on!?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANA8uEalnJOY7
"Isabel..." Meloni finally composing herself, "how is she?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAqltR7U7O5H
"I'm sorry, Mel," she sighed. "It's critical. They wouldn't let me see her and there's no point in you going there too. They won't let you in either."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAmFV8eLxvrA
"I can't go home, Farah. I believe her now, I really think she told the truth about someone being after me so I'm going to disappear for a while."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAKYigNLyJKV
"Meloni! Last night when you called me you were convinced she was insane. You can't leave, what about school? People will start looking for you, this is really not the time."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAcCgtJxnEn2
"Look, Fare, it's only for a couple of days and..."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAcfjSwryMr0
"...A couple of days!?" Farah exclaimed while repositioning herself in the driver's seat. "Where will you go? You can't be alone at this time, not with everything happening with Poppy. Meloni, don't forget that you were supposed to be with her at the time when she...well, went missing. You'll be a suspect if you disappear now."
592Please respect copyright.PENANALJ60JQRxIh
"You don't think I did it do you?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAVaWZRbHGzG
"Of course I don't!" She said angrily, reaching in her bag to retrieve the yellow mystery. "Someone paid me a visit just now. I insist that this is really not the time to go."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAsADcWm4dlc
Meloni's eyes was fixed on the envelope -dying to know what it contained. "Open it Farah."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAkShU07ieyH
"You open it, I can't." She sighed and handed Meloni the envelope with jittery hands.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAXg5YSZAkH2
Meloni eagerly ripped the paper, fishing the letter out. "It's an address and time and the location to the old warehouse where..."
592Please respect copyright.PENANA7zQoIpRwVM
"Why is all of this happening!? First Ashley, than Poppy goes missing now her. I'm sure it's her, she's doing all of this. What if it's her who told Timothy about Ashley. What if he knows what went down in Canon Dale?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAn4my4qftCA
"She's dead Farah! Kelli saw her die."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAbY9FQm2eI5
"It could be that she lied to cover for Poppy. After what happened with Ashley I'm heavily weighing this as an option."
592Please respect copyright.PENANASdsZICral7
"She is dead. How clear do I have to make that to you? Should I spell it out for you word for word? I think you should, for now -think whether you want to tell everyone about this. If the delivery man starts doing rounds again I'm sure Kelli must know about it. From what I understand Kelli was the mastermind behind cleaning Poppy's room -does that sound like the best friend thing to do?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAiUgL2HcTdt
"Meloni you know how things is. This is what we have to do or did you forget the true danger at hand here."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAJXc4BMmTly
"That's exactly what I'm saying, God! Think Fare! Kelli's uncle only sends the delivery man after he sends her a message to call a meeting. Have you heard anything of a meeting?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAzjKHd3UEe5
"No." Farah looked nauseas. "This means Valentino isn't far behind, right."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAQaXivF23he
"Yes, Farah. I think it's him whose after me and the very reason for Isabel being in the hospital. Farah I need you to swear to me that you're not going to repeat what I'm about to tell you."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAOaBkVP8319
"What now Meloni?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAJ2HHx596et
"I really need you to promise me Farah. Out of all the girls I feel like I can trust you the most. Can I trust you now, Fare? Can I trust you with my life?"
592Please respect copyright.PENANAa3lm2QThrr
Farah gulped, took a deep breath as her eyes traveled with the woman in her rear view mirror and her cellphone rang. "Isn't that Shelby?" she tilted her head to the woman before glancing at her cellphone.
592Please respect copyright.PENANA9aRzFpBgAP
"It's Kelli. I can't stomach any more of this, Meloni. We went from strangers to friends to competing to be the best criminal. It's as if I'm the only one who remembers the hell we had to endure."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAz7ZXSd0v8q
"They weren't suppose to be back yet." Meloni mumbled to herself.
592Please respect copyright.PENANAVaED8nmLlq
"I know my friend but don't worry. Soon, all of this will be over and we, the two of us and if Jess is smart enough -will be free."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAtBIlXGwIRo
"What do you mean free, Mel! We'll never be free."
592Please respect copyright.PENANA9NiIrunlFL
"Yes we can Farah and Timothy will help us."
592Please respect copyright.PENANAP3IEfDHLHh
Farah's eyes grew big, the pessimist in her not believing that Timothy could be of any help to them. "Valentino will kill him, before he does and we'll end up far worse than we did in Canon Dale. We sold our souls to the devil, Meloni! It's the mafia for blood's sake, once you're in, you never get out."
