The hunk of wood failed to fall off from the blow of Luthardis’ kick. D leaps back; starts to load several special arrows into his crossbow that are coated with poison which paralyzes its victim over time.

D examines the paralyzed man’s hand where it used to hold his companion. There was a punctured hole in the middle of it with blood steadily flowing out of it a few seconds later. D takes a picture of it before injecting the hand with proliferate. The skin instantly fills in the hole, however the hand was still covered in blood.
