In Decorous, there is an agency called “Vindicate,” where people can request help for dangerous tasks or for investigations. Recently, there have been no requests for Vindicate so most of the members of Vindicate had decided it was the best time to do something else for a while; so they left to: relax, travel, spend time with friends and family, etc.

There is currently one member of Vindicate that is still active. A young teenager at the age of sixteen, one-hundred-and-sixty-five centimeters tall, with tan skin. He is decent looking with glasses and is usually seen wearing a polo shirt with a collar and jeans. He also wears a fanny pack that's attached to his waist to keep supplies for various situations.

A Decorous police officer enters the Vindicate building with several files in his hands and approaches the young teenager. The Decorous police officer greets him “Good morning, are you D?.” Looking up from the computer monitor, D replies, “That's right” “Well, you probably already know that I came here to ask you something, something that you could do by yourself since it's easy.” D looks confused for a second. “If it's easy, how come you're asking me for my help?” “If you'll do this, it'll save the police money and time that could be used for important things.” “Ah, I see...” said D, slowly nodding his head to show that he understands. “So what can I do for you?”
The police officer drops the files on D's desk. “The files that I've just dropped contained some of the missing person cases the police received for the past three months. The problem is not finding the missing persons, in fact, the problem is the fact that the missing persons always come back! It can be as short as twelve hours and as long as three days!” “So I believe you want me to investigate any missing person cases the police receive from now on until the source of the problem is found.”“That's right, think you can do it?” “I'll look into it, if I find anything, I'll report it to you.” The police officer smiles. “Thank you, you saved the police tons of money and time.” The police officer then walks out of the building and continues on his morning patrols.

D began looking through the missing person files. Like the police officer said earlier, all of the people who were reported missing, came back home a few days later. The people who went missing seemed to have nothing in common. D was baffled, how could so many people have just decided to go somewhere without telling their friends and family and come back casually in the span of three months? he thought. Exhausted from the enigma that was given to him, Dat decided to call it a day and go home at 8:00 p.m.

The next morning, D found out that one of the missing person returned home around 7:15 a.m.
With the information in his hand, D decided to go ask the missing person some questions about his whereabouts. Outside of a common porch, D was currently asking questions to the person who returned home. “Could you start by telling me what happened a few days ago where you went missing?” “I was simply enjoying the scenery outside my house and lost track of time,” the man replied in a monotone voice. “I find it hard to believe that you lost track of time for two days.” No reply from the man. Seeing that the man wouldn't budge after fifteen minutes, D decided he couldn't get any other answers from him, so he went back home to review the other missing person files.

At 11:00 p.m. D awoke after hearing a Christmas melody outside of his house. With a thumping heart inside his chest, D puts on his glasses and tip toes to the living room window, slightly moves the blinds and looks outside. From the window, D could visibly see a female figure dancing on his front yard. Sweats began pouring from D's face and he could hear his heart thump faster not from love at first sight, but from fear.

Why here? Why now? D pondered. He remained paralyzed with fear while watching the ballerina dance for thirty minutes. The music that the ballerina was dancing to replayed every three minutes and it looks like the ballerina was not going to get tired any time soon. D finally recovered and made sure that his front door was locked before heading back into his room. He could still hear the music as it got louder, but after tossing and turning in his bed for an hour, D actually managed to fall asleep.

After the event with the ballerina, D bought ear plugs and set up a hidden camera that overlooks his front yard, just in case that ballerina decided to come back. The next day, Dat woke up after sleeping peacefully last night and went to replay the footage from his camera to see if anything happened while he was sleeping.

D fast forwarded the video until he noticed something and went back to play it normally. There was a baby stroller rolling down the street, to D's horror, he could see a baby in the baby stroller and there was no supervising adult. However, D's fear took a different turn when the baby stroller automatically turned and rolled up to D's front door, ramming the front door with a loud thud. Then the baby inside started wailing very loudly while the stroller continued to ram into his front door repeatedly. The unnatural event lasted two hours before the baby stopped screaming. The stroller rammed into the front door one last time in frustration before rolling away.

When it was 8:00 p.m. , D remained in the Vindicate building. Hmm... I think I should stay here for the night. As the clock ticks to 10:00 p.m. D was still awake considering this was the time when the ballerina and the baby appeared. There was only silence awaiting for D as he cringed for something to happen. D eventually got tired of waiting and was able to sleep after an hour. Unfortunately, the rest only lasted an hour as D could hear a thumping noise outside his window. An animal? There's no way it could be a person. The reason why D thought like this was because the girls' dormitory resides on the second floor while the boys' dormitory resides on the third. There is nothing near the Vindicate Agency building that someone could climb to get near a window on the third floor; in addition to having no form of platform to stand on.

D lazily gets out of bed and staggers towards the window; slightly moves one of the blinds to look at a face of a girl. “Uwa!” D jumps backward and the blinds were now swinging left and right like a pendulum, with glimpse of an expressionless girl with her hands pressed against the window outside. The girl began pounding on the window with cracks appearing larger than the last with each pound. Realization quickly came to D and he frantically put on his fanny pack and loads his crossbow, slightly wider and longer than a handgun. By the time the girl broke the glass, D was already prepared and shot an arrow that pierced the girl's left cheek while she was crawling through the window.

The girl paused at the impact of the arrow, so D took this opportunity to load another arrow into his crossbow and aimed at the intruder once more. The girl recovers and continues to crawl towards D like a zombie. D shot the second arrow and it went through her forehead this time. The girl's head snapped back, but she steadily crawls again after a few second delay and leaps at D. D sidesteps to the right, and as the girl's body flies past him, he grabs her head, stomps his feet on her back, and twists her head 180 degree to the left.

As if D wasn't already surprise with two arrows in her head, the girl with sudden strength got up from under D's foot, knocking him backwards. D falls onto the floor and got entangled within several threads. There was no time for him to be baffled by the sudden appearance of the threads in the room as the girl falls backwards onto D. D pulls back her long black hair away from his face and grabs a knife from his fanny pack. D quickly uses one of his legs to push the girl up and thrusts the knife through her back, and apparently she knows no pain or death as she didn't scream nor dies.

Wanting to get away from the girl that seems immune to death, D started to cut the threads that were wrapped around his body, the threads were thin as strings but feels like steel. After cutting five threads, the girl on top of D was no longer moving. D shoves the girl's cold body away from him and enters a defensive stance with his arms in front of his body with his knife ready for another strike. However, the struggle seems to be over and D made sure the girl wouldn't get up again.

Once D was satisfied, that the girl was dead, he looked around his surroundings and noticed that the threads that D was entangled in earlier were attached to the girl's limbs. Dat followed the other half of the threads outside his window, he carefully glanced outside avoiding the broken glass, and saw two sets of wooden crosses dangling. After his investigation was done, D picked up his iphone from his desk, went into his contact list, and started to make a call.
