Alraune, a nature-type creature, Elder or ancestor of the plant and tree race, is the queen who brings balance to the forest and all life within it. Alraune is known as the only ancient who has the most generous soul.
It's just that, their obsession and ambition should not be contradicted by anyone. Just because she was considered the “most generous ancient” didn't mean Alraune couldn't be angry. Alraune always represents the name of the flower in her presence. And each of those flowers inherited their worst attitude.
After all, they are ancient creatures. And ancient creatures are those who are much stronger and wiser, like to rule but not the other way around, and have their own territory and power.
So far there are four alraune created by the wise queen of the constellations of nature, the queen of roses. Bloodshed Lily Sundew, inheriting the mercilessly “cruel” attitude, Morning Glory Venus, inheriting the “childish” attitude, Bladderworts Snapdragon, with her “Greedy” attitude, and finally, Black Rose Mandragora, who was known as “Grief and Vengeance ”.
By far the most dangerous to meet are the alraune who inherited their ruthless attitude as well as their strength in the "Constellar War Demonstration". Even though, the three of them clashed, no one knew how powerful the black rose was. It was because she didn't think about strength. That's what Queen Thessalia said.
Hearing Queen Thessalia's story, Cockatrice's eyes suddenly opened.
(*”Hey, someone's coming, you know! They're about five platoons! 800 meters at 1 o'clock!*”)
"Let's save the details for later, Queen Thessalia." added Moritz packing up his things and turning to all his comrades. “Everyone, let's get ready! Someone is approaching!”
Everyone looked panicked, but Moritz was assisted by Bihice and Queen Thessalia to relieve the panic. Moritz quickly performed teleportation magic to put his kitchen utensils in his yard.
In about 3 minutes, everyone managed to get on Cockatrice's back. Now they are level with the clouds. Moritz watching from above, he saw so many moldrins and the spirits. They looked up with glowing red eyes.
Likewise… the woman who split their crowd…
Her sad face looked up at the sky….

Arriving at the front gate, they got off and were greeted by their waiting families. Moritz looked so warmly missed, hugged, and relieved. Especially, Faegwyn, who warmly embraced the three dark elves, or her daughter. Smiles of satisfaction and relief also widened on the faces of the young mayor of Pirn, Presscot and his deputy Janice.
Almost everyone is welcome. Well, almost….
Not for the Rokurokubis and the Umbrella Ghost. At first, Presscot didn't agree, because they were monsters that had caused the city of Pirn to be in a bad state before. However, because it was Moritz who asked, Presscot, who seemed to have a free reciprocation, could not refuse.
Moritz decides to take the ghosts of the pirn forest with him temporarily for a visit to town.
Meanwhile Faegwyn is ordered by Moritz to return to vaughtort village, to calm down and rest. But Faegwyn stubbornly refused. He thought of staying temporarily in the city of Pirn to help Moritz. Moritz couldn't force it.
Instead….
Moritz invites Faegwyn along with Bihice and Queen Thessaly to discuss something at Presscot's office. While faegwyn’s three daughters told by her to back to the inn which she rented. Cockatrice is now shown too, but in small form. Along with the rokurokubi and umbrella ghosts.
"It is my pleasure to welcome Queen Thessalia and Bihice," he added reluctantly. “S-sure… and the pyrn forest spirit races….”
(Well, at least he's trying….)
(*”Heh! You really know how to force people!”*)
(Shut up! I don't want those words to come out of your mouth!)
Inside the Pirn City Management Building, through a third-floor corridor covered in plush carpeting, Presscot directed them into a special room. Meanwhile, Janice ordered the chefs to prepare a banquet.
A hall. Of course it is wider than the previous Presscot room which can accommodate up to five people. Presscot called this great hall a conference room. Presscot said, besides being able to accommodate a hundred people, this room was equipped with special protection magic and temperature control.
The Rokurokubi looked around, they looked foreign to the roofed buildings, so did the umbrella ghosts.
Everyone take their seats. The umbrella ghosts prefer to float, while Cockatrice… lies down on a chair.
“Mr. Presscot, to be honest I got a lot more than I thought I would. First, let me confirm this. Did the grenaldine parties- I mean, the grenaldine mercenaries in my absence… Did they came?”
Presscot kept a mute face.
Janice came in when needed, along with the chefs carrying several trolleys of food. Moritz ordered the Rokurokubi and umbrella ghosts to try these various foods. They were a little hesitant.
“Mr. Moritz, let me get this straight. They barge in, with some two heroes who have badges like yours. But I can say they are official troops from the capital!” Janice chivalrously approached Moritz while bowing before him. “I-I…! I am in charge of opening the north gate! I'm wrong!" she was crying.
(*"Boo boo~ Tadpole makes Miss Sexy the white wolf cry!"*)
(Hoi, please fix your shit talking!)
(*”Oh my…. What a sensational man….”*) Cockatrice's telepathic voice that was pitiful even seemed to rinse the fire in Moritz's mind with oil.
(Tch! One day I'll eat you, fried chicken!)
All the creatures looked at Moritz. Moritz felt uneasy.
“Miss… stand up, state your reasons nicely. I-I have a heart!, okay?” Moritz took Miss Janice by the shoulders. Moritz took a seat and poured wine.
#Gluck! Gluck!
After sipping a glass of wine, Miss Janice already felt calmer.
"Well, now you can say it casually and clearly, Janice…."
“Th-thank you for being generous…..”
Janice says that the two heroes are from the lord of the capital grenaldine, having Klampsterdale Expedition 1st badges. Two women, the halberd-wielding squad captain Claribel and the magician Jaquelin. Janice admitted that she had not shown the badge Moritz had left her. Janice just didn't want to make unnecessary fuss.
(Jaquelin!? What business is she on?)
(*”Well, well, well! Who would have thought old friends would become long-term enemies too!”*)
"Hm ... they are people I know,"
“EEHHHH!?” Presscot and Janice were suddenly shocked.
“Well, we are just comrades. There are several reasons and rules when in an expedition team to look after each other. When the expedition is over, then we are total strangers….”
Moritz took one grape into his mouth.
“Jaquelin is an exception. That's why Janice has made a wise decision. Ignore that halberd, Jaquelin is a big problem. Yeah… it seems that be it," Moritz said casually while enjoying some other food such as steamed bivalveel (eel clams). "If Jaquelin is angry, she can make the pirn area into history, ehehehe!"
Again, all looks of astonishment and worry were fixed on Moritz.
“Uh…. Mr. Moritz, are you not afraid?” Queen Thessalia opened her mouth.
“MunchMunchMunch!
Moritz sampled the food with gusto. He was calm, relaxed and really enjoyed it.
#GluckGluckGluck! Ah…~
“Well, I have experienced a lot of pressure, terror, fear…. Not in this world, or my previous world…. It sure is thrilling, but……”
.
.
"Regret. There's nothing I fear more than that."
The situation became very awkward.
