Ilmar laid on the green grass, up on a hill, facing the blue sky and daydreaming. Of course, in his dream, he was so brave and fierce with lots of magic on his hand that he conjured it with ease. Somehow, the huge monster in his dream began mumbling the most strangest thing that he forced himself to wake up.
When he sat up, he tried his best not to slap the person who disturbed his perfect dream. It was none other than Keyle Aren, his most annoying friend. "Can you not let me have peace?"
Keyle shrugged as he sat beside Ilmar, giving him the I'm-your-most-annoying-friend smile, "Course' not, silly. Someday we're going to get old and will not have the chance to go on adventures."
"So?"
"So, you need to follow me."
Ilmar felt surprised. He looked down where the civilians of the realm was indistinct, like ants navigating through the market square. There was tons of foods and magical items on sale and Keyle wasn't enjoying it. Which, to Ilmar knowledge, wasn't like him at all. Honestly, he thought Keyle fitted in quite well with the denizens of the realms. Unlike him.
"And why would you pass me that honor," He pointed his finger below the hill, straight at Veloras, "And not that?"
"Oh, come on!" He sighed, "Then let you be here alone on this fine day?"
The idea sounds appealing to Ilmar that he nodded. He could dream epic battles centering him and have fun in his own way. The world won't mattered by then, however, to his dismay, there was one obstacle that kept stopping him from doing that.
"Now you hurt me. And you must. MUST follow me. No excuses."
"You're won't leave me alone, huh? Fine. Should you bring the problems to me, I'll order the king to have your head."
He nodded a little too enthusiastic. And Ilmar hated enthusiasm because often, it meant Keyle was up to no good.
"Alright, deal." He agreed and stood up.
As Ilmar stood up, he fell back down, struggling to stop himself from falling down the hill as something huge flew overhead. His eyes caught it; a black Leigare. Thrice the size of the of Firamen's Leigare. It wings flapped slowly as it flew through the air, but spelled impending danger when it started descending toward Veloras. He stood up and shivered.
"I t-think that can wait, Keyle."
"I think so too."
And Ilmar sprinted downhill with the denizens below screaming and running as they realized what was heading at them.
