I am a secretary in Chicago. And I fell in love with my boss's son, Austin. We've been together since he was in high school, and now he has grown into a handsome adult. And is the next to take lead in the company. 

I was waking up from sleeping at Austin's. He was still asleep and holding on to me like he was falling. I looked at the clock and it was five minutes pass the time to get up and get ready for work. 

"Get up Austin are you are going to be late for work." I told him, shaking his lifeless body. I kept shaking him until he sat up right in the bed. 

"Alright I'm up." He said, rubbing his left and right eye. His hair all over the place. 

"Okay well take a shower and get dress. I'll take my leave while you are in the shower. And you have a ten O'clock meeting that you have to attend to with your father."

"Why can't you shower and get dress here? You have clothes here. And why don't we take a shower together?"

"What did I say before? We are not open about our relationship. And I don't want the press to catch us. Now I will get dress and leave."

He blew his breath in irritation, and got up off his bed and headed in the shower. I picked up my clothes and started to put them on as quickly as I could. Because my house is six minutes away. And I have to get ready to assist Austin's father.

I rushed home, showered, got dressed, and headed out the door. In a few minutes the company's limo arrived and I hopped in, carrying my suitcase. 

We arrived to the president of the company's house, and I walked out the limo. I went straight to the door and knocked on it twice. A butler opened the door, and called for the president. I heard footsteps coming from the stairway, and saw the president walk down them. 

I lead the president all the way to the limo, where he sat calmly and properly. He asked for a bottle of water, as politely as anyone could. I took my gloves off and handed him one. 

"Sir, your day is full, and is starting with a meeting with your son. That meeting will start at ten O'clock, right after you have your coffee." I let know to him. He nodded his head while he read a magazine, with the headlines of the company. 

"Oh my son." The president started to say. "He's will be taking the company over soon. Right Mr. Wright?" 

"Yes it will seem so. The years went by quick."

He looked at me with a stern look in his eyes. "You will look after my son, Mr. Wright, only you. I trust you more than anyone else in this company." He ordered me. 

"Yes Mr. Powell. I will do my best and take care of him, while he takes care of the company."

When we arrived in the company's building. I took hold of the presidents coat, and held it in my arms while it was folded neatly. 

I entered the presidents office and pulled out his seat. While a worker at the company placed a warm cup of coffee on his working desk. 

The president sat down at his desk and started to take sips on his coffee. I stood beside him, incase he needs something. 

It was 9:58am when the president starting to walk to his meeting. We arrived on time, and his son was already sitting down. Ready to listen. 

"Mr. Wright, this is personal matter that I have to discuss with my son. You make take leave for thirty minutes." The president informed me. I bowed my head and left the office. 

I walked over to the cafeteria. Wanting some coffee, for the long day ahead. When I received my coffee, I overheard women employees talking about Austin. 

I sat closely to them. Trying to listen in on what they were saying. 

". . . Presidents son is getting arranged for a marriage my the president, and the president of the CC company." 

"Really?"

"Yes, the young daughter of the CC company is a person that you would look twice to. She is very smart, very beautiful, and her family is rich."

I never heard of this. And I don't know if it's true or not. But it just gossip by the women of the company. Most of what they are saying isn't true at the end. 

After thirty minutes of me just walking around the company being nosy. I walked back to the president. He was waiting for me to arrive, and got up right when he saw me. 

"Sorry for the wait Mr. Powell." I spoke, as he lead the way back to his office.

When it was time for me to go home, Austin asked if I could come over. My mind was still all over the place today and I wanted to get some rest. 

"I'm really tired Mr. Powell." I proclaimed to him. Hoping that he will let me go with out causing a scene. 

"Out of work you call me buy my first name. Now come on I had a stressful day and I want to be with you." He explained to me. He took upon my hand, and looked me into my eye. 

I quickly snatched away my hand, looking around us. "We are still in the company. Weather or not the day is over, people talk. Now, if only I can sleep at your place. But first I need to take the president home like usual." He understood and let me leave. 

I accompanied the president to his house, and was driven back to my house. I thanked the driver as he drove away. I walked into my house, and walked straight to my room. Seeing my bed made me want to climb in it and drift to sleep. But I remembered that I was suppose to go see Austin. I nodded it off and went into my bed anyways. I swiftly fell asleep in a matter of minutes. 

My sleep was abrupt by a phone ring. I looked at the caller ID and it appeared to be Austin's phone number. I picked it up, and said the usual 'Hello'. 

"What are you doing Author? Did you fall asleep?!" he asked me in frustration. The sudden loudness, made me pull back the phone from my ear. 

"Apparently I did. I told you I was tired. Didn't I? I apologize if you were waiting up for me. I really do. We can meet up tomorrow." I responded. My voice raspy from just waking up. 

"I can't meet tomorrow after work. I have to meet with important people. That's why I wanted to meet up with you tonight Author."

"What people?" I questioned him. Wanting to know more about this 'importance' of a certain group of people. 

"I can't tell you. It's private."

"Aren't we going out? And don't I have the right to know as your lover not as a secretary?!" I raised my voice, angry that he wouldn't tell me. 

"Look my. . ."

"You know what? I just need some sleep. Goodnight Austin."

"Love you."

I didn't say it back but instead ended the call. I wondered if it's about the arrange marriage that his father set up. But he would tell me if that was the case. Right? The questions and the possibilities kept me up all night.

The next morning was a hassle to wake up. Even though I didn't get a wince of sleep after that call. I did the usual today, picked up the president, gave what he needed even though some of his request is not in my reach. And accompanied him back home. 

Once I arrived home, I took advantage of the phone tracker. The phone tracker took me to a Hotel and Bar. I walked in trying not to be noticed by Austin. He was associating a gorgeous girl in a black heart shape dress. Austin was smiling from ear to ear. Maybe he likes girls after all and I was just used as a reliever. I took a seat and asked the bartender for a margarita on rocks. 

After awhile I had five drinks and I was starting to stagger a bit. I looked back over to Austin and his date for the night. They were getting up and headed up stairs to the rooms. Tears started streaming down my face as I witnessed both of them going to the rooms at the same time. Well it's for the company, and I knew it wasn't going to last long. It was just a matter of time he left me for a younger person. 

I waited for ten minutes waiting for Austin to come back. Hoping that it was all in my head. When I got tired of waiting I told the bartender to put the drinks on a tab. 

I walked out and got into my car. Before I pulled out someone knocked on my window. 

"Author? Hey Author!" Austin yelled from the the side of the window. 

"Leave me alone. Got back to doing what ever you were doing with that woman." The tears came again, remembering that stupid woman. 

"Get out of the car, you drunk. You will get fired if you drive drunk and were caught."

I stepped out of the car. He held out his hand and I placed my key there. He took me to his house and placed me on his bed. 

"Why did you bring me here? Weren't you not having fun with her?" I interrogated him.

"Were you stalking me?"

"Hell yeah if you lie I will stalk you dumb. . ." My stomach started to feel light. I ran to his bathroom and blew chunks in his toilet.

"Well well, karma got you good tonight. Were you jealous?" He mocked me, leaning against the door frame. 

I wiped my mouth with my sleeve. "You said you were going to meet important people tonight."

"Yeah the woman that you just saw and her parents. They are from the CC company. My father told me to meet with them. I tried to explain that you you yesterday but you interrupted me."

"Yeah for a marriage meeting. And then I saw you go up stairs to the hotel room."

"I declined. I'm dating you. And she got wasted so I took her to a room to rest. Then I came right back down. I promise."

I looked at him and got up. I grabbed him and pulled him in close to me. "You are not going to leave?"

"No."

He took me to the bed where he took my shirt off. I stopped him and went into his bed. 

"Come on let's do it. You Owe me. He said, trying to pry the cover from me. 

"This is pay back for lying to me."
