“Well, that was dramatic,” Damean said. He leaned against the doorway of the bathroom as Lucifer washed his face.
“We failed again.” Lucifer growled. He scrubbed the dried blood that trailed from his nose and mouth. There was an unpleasant feeling as the blood peeled off his skin.
“That is true, yes.” Damean popped his lips. “But now we know what the boy’s power is, yes?” The doorframe dug into his shoulder, but he didn’t care. He was used to pain unlike his equal.
“And that my daughter is connected to my mind.” Lucifer snarled.
“Oh, I already knew that.” Damean grinned. “It was fun, that must have been a terrible headache.” He chuckled, “Way worse than yours.”
Lucifer turned around, his eyes widened in surprise. “What did you do to my daughter?” He asked sternly.
Damean raised an eyebrow. “Have you forgotten? She’s my daughter too.” When he saw Lucifer’s eyes harden he chuckled. “You’re trying to come out again, aren’t you?” Damean grinned with his eyes closed and stood. He opened his lids and stared into Lucifer’s fear-hardened gaze. “You should just give up, I’m way stronger than you. And I will convince our daughter to stand with me. I don’t really care how much pain I’m going to force on her. She will submit.”
“Please,” Lucifer begged, “please don’t bring her into this. She doesn’t deserve it.”
Damean glared at Lucifer, his eyes darkening into a blood orange. “She’s my daughter too.” He slowly walked up to Lucifer, his eyes kept his equal in place. “And she will submit to me.” He grasped Lucifer’s chin, tilting it up to his predatory gaze. “I will go to extreme measures if I have to.”
Lucifer’s eyes grew as fear rushed through his spine, “Please, don’t tell me you’re willing to kill her…”
Damean tilted his head to the side, moving his eyes to the right. “No.” He stared back at Lucifer. “But I will do everything to her until she agrees to come with me.”
“You’re a psychopath…” Lucifer whimpered, “You would torcher your own daughter?”
Damean gripped his chin harder, digging his nails into Lucifer’s skin. He hated that word, “psychopath”. It made his blood boil. “I have complete control over you.” He growled, “Don’t go mouthing off to me when you know that I can force you to cause her immense pain as well.”
“I’ve already hurt her enough,” Lucifer said sadly. “I would kill myself if I caused her more pain.”
Damean grinned ferociously, “Let’s see… I made you kill your own wife… Her mother. Then you killed her teacher, the only adult that taught her how to read and write… Oh! Then you killed her-”
“Stop! Just stop!”
“You killed her aunt! The only family member she had left!” Damean chuckled madly, “Was it fun? Seeing their lives drain before your eyes. Stabbing the only person she loved and almost killing them. Oh, Lucifer!” He laughed, “You even poisoned him! You made her cry as hard as she could.” He chuckled through clenched teeth, “Don’t you see? You already caused her so much pain. She’ll never forgive you. Just give up.”
“That was you, not me.” Lucifer snarled.
“But, it was done by your hands.” Damean held his chin firmly.
Lucifer spat in his face, “You’re deranged.”
Damean let go of Lucifer’s chin, knowing that Lucifer couldn’t run because he had complete control over his body. He wiped his face with the back of his hand, then flicked the spit to the floor. He pressed Lucifer hard against the wall, smashing Lucifer’s lungs into his ribcage. Anger rose in Damean’s throat. “That’s it.” Damean hissed. Damean had that look in his eyes, the look of madness. Lucifer tried to breathe, but Damean pressed him too hard against the wall. He tried to look away from Damean’s eyes. He was incapable of closing his lids, but he could still look away. Damean grasped his chin again, forcing him to look in his eyes. “You’re going to go to their crummy hotel and burn it to the ground.”
Lucifer shook his head. Desperate to get away from Damean’s mind spell. He couldn’t move, every single part of his body was under Damean’s control. Lucifer couldn’t stop staring into his scarlet orange eyes. They were slowly taking over his mind. Damean let go of his chin, his teeth clenched. He couldn’t move his gaze away from Damean’s swirling stare. “Please-” He started.
“I wasn’t finished yet.” Damean interrupted. He grabbed Lucifer’s throat, crushing his windpipe. Lucifer struggled to breathe, his head spun at the lack of oxygen in his brain. “Destroy their networks, the phone services, both of their phones should be offline from the internet.” Damean continued. “Leave them to drive all by themselves to the “bureau”, and I will decide what you do after that.”
“Please, don’t do this….” Lucifer choked. He could feel the spell take over, he felt his mind get controlled by Damean slowly. Damean held his throat tighter, pressing him harder against the wall. Lucifer gagged as his grip forced the oxygen to clog in his throat. “Please, don’t make me…”
Damean chuckled, “You of all people, definitely don’t have a choice.”
“Someone…” Lucifer begged as his vision grew black splotches, “help… me…”
