Taylor had woken up early in the morning.
The sun wasn’t even out.
He was laying in his bed, shirtless with one arm stretched up above his head and another resting on his torso. He was staring up at his dark ceiling, his fingers softly tapping against his skin over and over again.
He felt fully awake, but didn’t want to get out of bed yet.
Taylor finally sat up, looking forward towards his door. He then turned to look back at his dark window, barely any moonlight to shine through.
Taylor was clearly thinking about something.34Please respect copyright.PENANA6wXa8Jlg3q
Something that could potentially be dangerous.
He grabbed his track bag, threw on his hoodie, and made his way out of his apartment.
He quickly made his way down the stairs and to the empty ground floor.
He left through the front door, looking around the silent and cold street. Nobody was out. No cars were moving yet. Most of the street lights were empty, only giving enough light in certain spots to dissipate out and make things barely visible. Taylor breathed in and quickly began to walk down the sidewalk, his lips quickly moving without forming any actual words. His brain was thinking at a thousand miles per hour, his mouth not even trying to keep up with it.
He began to jog, wanting to get to his destination as quickly as possible.
He made it to a large field that was about the size of a soccer pitch, no buildings around for people to see him. There was a massive stretch of land with nothing but grass in the way. No trees, no bushes, nothing.
Taylor put his track bag down and quickly changed into his clothes as if he was preparing to run a race. His thin athletic shirt, his short athletic shorts, his knee high socks, and his sneakers.
Taylor stared forward, stretching his limbs before he did anything.
“I need to figure out what is happening.” Taylor whispered to himself before he dropped down into a sprinting position. His butt was high up as he stared across the long field of empty grass.
Taylor took a very long and deep breath as he could feel his entire body beginning to warm up and vibrate.
In the darkness, a green glow began to appear around his face, illuminating his hands and the grass beneath him.
Taylor didn’t let it distract him.
He kept staring forward at the end of the field.
Taylor was taking very long and deep breaths.
Every breath was three seconds in and three seconds out.
Taylor made his entire body rigid as he prepared to take off.
His body was shaking more and more, the glow in his eyes glowing brighter until they shined like flashlights.
Taylor breathed in.
His feet pushed off the ground.
The grass beneath his feet was forcefully ripped out of the ground and flown high into the air, multiple inches of dirt and ground thrown with it.
The sneakers around his feet suddenly ripped into a hundred pieces from the force his legs exerted, the fabric all flying into the air with smoke coming from it, the force creating so much heat the the thinnest parts of the shoes burned in midair before quickly being put out by the cold wind.
Taylor sprinted as quickly as he could.
Everything was a shapeless blur as he ran, the wind more powerful than a wind tunnel blasting against his body over and over and over again with every movement.
Taylor could barely see anything as he ran forward.
Taylor suddenly came to a screeching halt.
A tidal wave of wind blasted into him from behind, pulling grass and dirt out of the ground and flying past him. The treeline directly in front of him was blasted by the wind as well, the tree branches and leaves all whipping back. The force was so great even the trunks began to bend before snapping back in place.
Taylor breathed out as he turned around.34Please respect copyright.PENANAdPzXHqU1LX
In three seconds, he was on the other side of the field.
In three seconds, he ran 130 yards.
Taylor looked down at his body.
Once again, his muscle and fat had disappeared. His body was frail and skinny once again.
Taylor breathed in and out slowly as he kept rubbing his hand over his torso, able to feel his bones and organs inside.
His hand went up to his chest, feeling his heart beating very slowly, almost as fast as a dead person.
As Taylor kept his hand to his chest, he could feel his heart rate beginning to beat faster and faster until it was at a normal rate.
Taylor looked back at the opposite end of the field.
He stared as he was breathing heavy and fast.
He wasn’t sweating at all, but his body was sore as if he was.
Taylor kept staring, a dangerous thought appearing in his brain.
Taylor slowly breathed in.
Taylor suddenly began to run again, the same speed as he was a blur until he suddenly stopped back where he started on the other side of the field.
The wind rushed past.
But this time, the wind forcefully knocked Taylor over.34Please respect copyright.PENANAjImIYmje4g
Taylor gasped for air as he looked down at his body.
He was skinnier than ever before, his skin so thin he could see the pulsing and throbbing of his organs working through it.
Taylor gritted his teeth as he gasped painfully for air.
His hands pushed off of the ground, but he was too weak to push himself up.
Taylor laid on the ground, unable to do anything about it.
He was weak and limp, his body too weak to even move.
Taylor watched as a few pieces of grass floated down onto his hand.
Taylor stared at the blades of grass resting on the back of his hand.
Taylor tried to lift his hand up, but the blades of grass were too heavy for him.
“Shit…” Taylor whispered to himself weakly.
Taylor laid as a barely alive corpse on the ground, not even strong enough to lift grass.
Taylor’s eyes did their best to look up at the night sky, stars twinkling down on him. Taylor took another deep breath, trying so hard to move but being unable to.

At a gas station only a few blocks away, there were two teenagers wearing ski masks standing around the corner from the front.
One was holding a pistol, and the other holding a baseball bat.
“Are you sure about this?” One asked.
“I’m not sure, but we don’t have a choice.” The other quickly replied.
The teen opened the magazine to the pistol, loading five bullets into the twelve bullet mag.
“That’s all you have?” The one asked.
“It’s all I could afford. Now shut up.” The teen forced the mag in and got the gun ready if he needed to fire it.
The two quickly made their way to the front, kicking the door in as the one teen raised the gun up to the cashier, another teenager.
There was only one other person at the far end of the restaurant, who was dressed in a black hoodie but was a large figure in the distance. He was holding a small black bag in his large hand, staring at the drinks.
“Give us all the money! Now!” The teen with the gun shouted.
The teenage cashier was shaking in fear.
“Please…we don’t have any in here…business has been…”
The teen suddenly fired the gun, hitting the wall behind the cashier and causing boxes of cigarettes, lottery tickets, and small bottles of liquor to come crashing down on them and onto the floor.
“Open it up! Now!” The teen shouted.
The teen with the baseball bat turned and noticed the man standing at the back of the store.
The man pulled his black bag up to his chest and seemed to be pulling something out of it.
“Hey…we um…” The teen stumbled.
The one with the gun turned to see the man.
“Go deal with him!” He shouted.
The teen with the bat swallowed hard as they slowly made their way down the aisle packed with unhealthy snacks.
“Hey…” He said nervously.
The man didn’t even budge.
“Hey you…you didn’t…see nothing…got that?” The teen was still nervous as he approached closer.
The man seemed to be doing something with his hands, but it was obscured by his large body.34Please respect copyright.PENANAnJ8dGiEDaz
His black bag suddenly dropped to the floor, now completely empty.
The teen froze in place only a few feet away, the baseball bat shaking violently in his hands.
“Turn around!” The teen shouted.
The man very slowly turned around.
They wore steel toed boots that were hidden by tight fitting track pants that seemed to be poking out around the knees. The hands came out to show they were both heavily taped underneath fingerless leather gloves. The torso was covered by a large but tight fitting hoodie that seemed to have a bulletproof vest sewn into the chest and back. Finally, the hood came down to show a half black and half white mask.
The left side was black with a white eye and white half of a smile in white pointing upwards. The right side was white with a black eye and black half of a frown pointing downwards.
The teen’s eyes went wide as he dropped the bat.
“Oh shit…”
The man suddenly grabbed the teen and threw him over the aisle, crashing into the aisle on the other side and making it tip over, sending things flying everywhere. The man marched down the aisle with his steel toed boots loudly thudding with every step.
The teen with the gun turned around and fired his gun until all of the bullets were gone, hitting the bullet proof vest that covered his chest every time.
The teen dropped the gun when the man suddenly grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, throwing him hard into the wall and punching him once in the gut so hard that ribs breaking filled the air. The teen coughed up blood through his ski mask before the man picked him up with complete ease and threw him through the store window, shattering at the teen hit the ground head and shoulders first. He laid on the ground in pain, but he was still alive.
The man turned to look back at the teen laying on top of the broken aisle, shifting around in pure pain.
The man slowly walked over, the teen noticing and trying his best to crawl away, but he screamed in pain as his back was visibly injured, a large hump sticking out.
“Ah! Fuck!” He shouted as he clutched his back.
The man suddenly lifted him off the ground as the teen kept screaming and crying.
The man wrapped both of his arms around the teen’s torso and squeezed hard.
The teen coughed and was trying to break free.
“You’re…going to…”
The teen suddenly stopped when a large crack filled the air.
The teen gasped, his eyes going wide as if he had died.
The man released the hold.
The teen landed on his feet, looking back to see his back was fixed.
The hump was gone and he was able to walk without too much pain.
The man walked past the teen and grabbed the black bag, walking over and filling the bag with snacks from the broken aisle before tossing a candy bar to the teenager, who was frozen in shock and didn’t catch it.
“Stay out of trouble.” The man said in a deep voice as he went over to the cashier counter.
He pulled out a few dollar bills and slammed them down.34Please respect copyright.PENANAXwjXgzh1rM
“It isn’t everything, but I hope you’ll take it.” The man said as he left the store.
The cashier was shaking in fear and looked down at the money on the counter.

The man was walking rather quickly down the street away from the gas station. He removed the mask from his face, but it was so dark that it was impossible to see his face.
He quickly began to unwrap the tape from his hands as he quickly walked.
He began to walk past a park, looking over at the large and expansive field.
The man continued to walk quickly, but stopped in his tracks when he saw something.
It looked like somebody laying face down on the ground.
He made his way over, moving into the ground so his steel toe boots didn’t let off any noise.
He made his way closer and closer to see what was going on.
Once he was close enough, he saw a frail and thin body laying on the ground. The person’s eyes were barely open, but they were in severe pain. Their body was as thin as a skeleton, barely any skin over the bones. He could see pulsing and throbbing where the organs were, showing how thin the skin really was.
The man moved closer, stopping when they suddenly saw the face of the boy.
The man kneeled down, the moonlight now shining bright enough to reveal the face of the man.
It was Stephen’s Dad staring down at Taylor.
Stephen’s Dad slowly reached out, grabbing Taylor and carefully lifting him up and carrying him over his shoulders, grabbing his track bag in his other hand as he walked down the street.
