Work it out... literally. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAhHGsjCMuhx
I've found that the best sort of stress relief for me is running it out. Well, I use the term "running" loosely. Really, all I'm doing is just running away in a sense. I block it all out. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAgYNo2Scv6T
Usually I run with a friend so I can vent, but really it's just an opportunity to get away from it all for a while. On a nice day, especially in the mornings, its so peaceful. Well, I live in a more rural area than most, so, when I run I see fields of grass and trees sweeping along in the wind. It's quite tranquil. When I get away, I really get away. I leave my phone behind or put it on silent and just run. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAeGqHgWWKLM
The only thoughts on my mind consist of remembering to breathe and how not to fall. Every now and then the problems of daily living will seep back into the crevasses of my mind. If they do then it'll just make me run faster and harder. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAVDjQ0qiEND
Yes, I know what you must be thinking: "I so do NOT run". 1103Please respect copyright.PENANASpTuEI2q0P
Yeah, well, I didn't either until last summer. Up until then the only exercise I got was when I walked to the fridge. But, I got a new bike and a new friend who was willing to start doing some workout's with. Don't get me wrong, the first couple of days you'll be sore as hell and feel like you've been hit by a truck. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAM2xxV05nVq
And if you take up biking first like I did then your back side won't appreciate all the attention and decide to hurt horribly too. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAi6TCUtZBe3
But, don't stop, no matter what. If you don't feel a burn then it's doing nothing for you. Just keep doing it and soon you'll build up some stamina and will be able to run/bike a mile or two in no time. Seriously, it doesn't really take long to get into it. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANARfuONjBvA2
It'll make you feel better about yourself and doing it when you're stressed just makes you work harder. It really does. The same summer I started exercising some, I ran a 5K (approximately 3.5 miles). With hills and curves and everything! It hurt SO bad. And most of that time I was walking the course, anyway. But, my friend stayed right by me and everyone else was like "YOU CAN DO IT!". In the end we came in at 89 and 90 out of 100 people. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANA3xi8VsoTMR
It was a pretty bad score, but at least we had fun and felt really good about making it to the finish line. The kind of satisfaction it gives you is unbelievable. You feel so empowered. Like you wanna do it again and some people did! 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAcMzSJe5bBJ
It's really helpful, though. It truly is. And if you have a good friend like me then you won't be doing it alone. You'll be able to motivate each other. "Let's run up one more hill", "Let's bike ten more minutes", and "Let's make it to the end" are some of the things you'll say.1103Please respect copyright.PENANAKaalMhWDTZ
Honestly, you'll get into it really soon. You think all those marathon runners and random joggers on the side of the road do it for nothing? Wrong, most of them strive for self-satisfactory. They want to feel good and do good. They want to push themselves to the limit so that they can say: "I did it!" with a big, fat smile on their face. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAVhzH6Kkrdw
Just try. Start small and then go big. Walk for 10 minutes every day. Turn it into a fast walk. Turn that into a slow jog. Turn that into a long stride jog. Turn that into a slow run. And turn that into a sprint. Because you'll be able to do it if you just put in a little more effort each time. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAcgDycLYOML
I hope because of this you can try to be healthier. I hope you reduce your stress. I hope you feel accomplished. Just try. 1103Please respect copyright.PENANAvrg6bblPw4
