As it's nearly half-way through December, I guess it is officially Christmas now! With Christmas comes the long-awaited Christmas break, and sadly, I mean break in every sense of the word. Whilst I will be having a 'break' (ha!) from uni, it looks like I will also be needing to take a break from everything else as well. That means writing, socialising... having any sort of life in general. I can kiss goodbye to going out/doing anything fun before New Years Eve, (no amount of deadlines can rob me of NYE in town with my best friends!) as my head will be stuck either in a book or typing furiously on my laptop.
See, uni have decided, in the festive spirit, not to give us the time off we so desperately need, but rather to add to our existing deadlines. And so, I now have not one, not two, but three 3,000-4,000 word essays due in January. As well as this I have a presentation to prepare, a complete film script and storyboard for a documentary to come up with, a dissertation research proposal to write, a blog to run and a documentary that needs a 500-word review...also all in for January. That does not include all the weekly assignments and readings that we'll be required to do when term starts again.
So, it is goodbye for now! (Perhaps if I get a spare second I might be able to work on something, but between all these deadlines and also having to work extra hours over Christmas, I doubt it!) I'd like to wish everyone that celebrates it a Happy Christmas (and those who do not, happy holidays) and everyone a happy new year!568Please respect copyright.PENANAzQdWf1KVUz
