He opened the door to his apartment and stepped in. “I’m home,” he said. There was no answer. Of course, he lives alone. Except he doesn’t think he lives alone. He put his keys on a rectangular mini table that leaned against the wall beside the door then put away his shoes. There was a portrait of himself with a handsome young man with willow leaf, silver eyes and thin, red lips that were opened into a big smile, showing his pearly white teeth and causing his eyes to squint. Snow was lightly sprinkled on the tall man’s hair while the smaller one’s hair was covered by the man’s hands. They were side by side– the taller one gripped his waist with the right hand and covered his head with the left, shielding him while he himself had no cover for his head. Though the “small” one was already considerably tall, the other guy still towered over him. Both were wearing black-knit scarves with the image of a golden dragon descending. The small one was placing his hand over the hand on his waist while trying to wave away the hand that shielded him with his free hand, his bow-shaped lips curled up into a smile. He wasn’t looking at the camera. His head was turned to his side, to his right where his lover stood.
